Cold

Quick Question-

My 4 month old has a really bad head cold. He's all stuffed up, green goopy eyes, coughing, sneezing. He's about 19 lbs. Anything I can do for him? Any meds? I'm at work so I just wanted to ask real fast, no time to research!

Unfortunately they took all infant cough meds off the market because parents were overdosing their children, and giving it to them so they would sleep.

Try a vapor bath, sticking him in the bathroom with you while you take a shower, raise the head of the bed, use saline nose drops to help loosen everything up and suck it out, umm use a humidifier and lots of hugs kisses and cuddles.

My 5 wk old has a little cold as well right now, i even filled the bathtub up with hot water to get the bathroom all steamy, and put her infant tub in the bathroom with the vapor bath and gave her a bath today, seemed to work for a little while. Good Luck!

when my lo is all stuffed up with colds, i always usevapour plug and day night in his room, just helps him breath more easy...
