STRETCH MARKS!!!

posted 2nd Apr
Okay, it's 2009 and it's been awhile since I've posted about this topic. I've been using my derma-roller on and off for the past 6 months and I've seen some mediocre results (compared to what they've been advertising). Actually, a little more than mediocre, but still. Anyways, I just wanted to know if anyone's heard anything about new products on the market that actually WORK!!! I've heard about Cosmetyn, which after researching just looks like another gigantic cop-out scam! Resveratrol supposedly helps with your skin and works well against stretch marks? Not sure, but any advice you ladies can spare will really help me out  ) Thanks a bunch!

Stretch marks are tears in the second layer of your skin. There isn't a lotion out there that can magically repair that tear. They just fade over time.

Right now I have just been putting some coco butter on them. I think its from suave...it was on sale haha. Anything that is targeted towards pregnant woman or that is for stretchmarks has never worked for me. i jsut use my regualr lotion and its helped them blend in a bit better with my skin tone. its still quite obvious i have then though. The skin has been torn and stretched so its thin and wrinkled(due to shrinking). I know one day they will look less noticable. Compared to how they were just about a year ago they have come a long way. Still, even though they look better stretchmarkss suck!!!!! haha

I used nothing, and in 5 months mine faded from purple to pink to white.

You guys are wasting your money. You see results, because you get them naturally. Nothing you rub on the surface of your skin is going to do jack towards repairing the internal tears.

It takes time for them to fade. Its not gonna happen overnight. Mine took about 8 months to fade completely..and I didn't use shit on them. and even if it works..they won't go away completely. Especially if you have deep ones.
