Thanks. We're both pretty happy about it regardless.

Well, not sure what's up with my body. It's being really confusing today! I started out this morning with a bunch of clear, sticky CM mixed in with a tiny bit of cloudy (it's not semen as, at least in my experience, that's more white and slimy from SO, even hours later). Then I had a bunch of watery CM and my cervix opened up and got soft. A few hours later my cervix was totally low and hard and I had no CM whatsoever.About 45 minutesago I checked again and have a combo of that clear sticky and clear watery and my cervix is more closed now, but somewhere in between for height and softness. I don't recall ever going through so many rapid changes in CM and CP all in the same day! I assume this just means my hormones are still acting a bit goofy, although my beta level is now 5, so considered fully normal, nonpregnant levels. Hoping things get back on schedule soon!

Probably a bit crazy of me, but I just ordered some stuffed eggies and stuffed spermies to "play" together so I can use them to help meditate on and visualize fertilization and pregnancy. LOL! They should get here on Wednesday.

Are they going to check your beta levels again, like on Monday or Tuesday? Just curious because your number was 8 at 18DPO, per your FF chart. I wonder because the "average" beta at 18DPO is 500-600-ish per the chart from my doctor, so with your level being 8 it's almost as if you ovulated a week later than FF said. I don't know, I guess I just have a bit of a beta level obsession because I've always had to have mine checked all the time. LOL!

Yes, they are checking again soon.

I'm so upset...I just got some bright red bleeding last night, and I don't know what to think. It's most likely an early MC but apparently some women still get their periods while pregnant...this is torture. I won't know until I get my blood checked again.
I think if I told my doc that I was bleeding she wouldn't check it....

ETA: There's no way this isn't a miscarriage...it feels like someone is knifing me...
I'll take a urine test on Tuesday just to verify, and if it's negative, I'm not getting blood drawn....

That's too bad! Hugs!!!

What I am wondering is did they tell you that you were pregnant when your level came back at 8 or that it was possible? I.e. Test again in a few days? I know some women on here have gotten "positive" tests with low beta levels only to not be like half the time. I know each lab and doctor's office is different, but the "gold standard" for the test is anything under 5 is definitely negative and anything 25 and higher is definitely positive (per the American Pregnancy website, I think). Anything in between is considered "equivocal" and could go either way. Is it possible you just had a extra long luteal phase this time (persistent follicle)? I had that with my July cycle (see my goofy chart) and on blood work my beta level was slightly elevated (13 I think) but not pregnant. I then had the most horrendous stabbing cramps ever when AF finally showed up. Someone else in this thread had a similar situation as well (lamr?) with her temps up a lot longer than normal, negative HPTs, and a negative blood test followed by horrible cramps with AF. I'm not sure if she ever got an answer for her issue though.

Sometimes our bodies just do goofy things on us for no good reason at all. If I were you I'd still get a beta drawn again on Tuesday just to see what's there one way or another.

Wow, you have an amazing memory!! Yes, that happened to me and was very discouraging! I hope things work out well for both of you! I ended up with a BFP the following month.

I was told I was pregnant. Their lab cut-off for a blood positive is HCG 6.
I have an appointment on Wednesday, but I know I'm not pregnant anymore. The horrendous cramping has stopped, but the bleeding has not. My BBT has dropped more and I expect it to stay low.
I've never had such horrible cramping and back pain in my life. I really want to try to get pregnant on purpose next month...but for several reasons, it would be better to wait. Fortunately my husband is supportive of TTC within the next 12 months, we just have some affairs to get in order first before we do.
I keep cycling between being feeling normal and being extremely sad and hurt about this happening...I suppose it's partly due to hormones...

I know the feeling. My SO didn't want to actively try for awhile so were doing the "see what happens" approach for awhile. I was frustrated with not actively trying, but I can't and shouldn't force someone into something they don't want, so I just needed to be more patient. We are trying now, even though he's not 100% sure he's "ready" for a baby. He wants them but is scared at the same time. He said he would probably always have that anxiety over it so there wasn't really a reason not to try. My end of the agreement is to not tell him we have to have sex because I'm fertile, just do it basically. It saves him his anxiety. LOL! It's probably a strange arrangement we have, but I get to try and he gets to not panic about things.

Yeah. It's hard when I know in my head this is a good plan, but emotionally...I want to start right away.
I'm just really happy he isn't blatantly opposed to the idea. I don't know if I could handle it if he was. That would just make me even sadder right now.

I don't think you O'd yet since you are getting the EWCM now. I think you are probably coming up on it soon though. You'll probably get a darker line soon in that case. It's also possible that your tests aren't sensitive enough to detect your surge, which has been known to happen. I'd just make sure to have sex since you have the EWCM. That way you are covered.
