I try reading and understanding these, I just end up cross eyed.
So I just keep being optimistic for your girl!!!

I don't understand all of these numbers either and I don't think they ever gave me any number for any of my pregnancy so I can't compare at all. =0(
I do know the NT scan for this pregnacy was 1.9mm and 2mm baby was measuring at 12wks 2 days

Haha
Sorry!
I just have been mobile a lot and can't post pics like that. It's a pita.
And just real nervous about it. Wondering if I should call my midwife Monday. I'm not sure if she'll do anything to check levels or not.

You measured right in the normal range for your gestation.

I was measuring 64 mm for crown-rump which is 12w4d or 12w5d depending on which chart I looked at. The average for 12w4d I was told is 2.1 mm but over 2.5 indicates increased risk for an abnormality. My tech said my measurement was "wonderfully thin." Per studies, girls typically average .3 to .4 mm thinner than a boy at the same gestation. I don't have NT measurements on my boys to compare though since age and blood screenings didn't require it. Apparently where I go 32 is where it's automatically done. I need to get my quad screen drawn tonight and if the AFP is low that will also indicate a girl, but it's not as strong of an indication since it tends to be lower when pregnancies are close together.

I know! I can't help it! My luck, it'll be another boy anyway. LOL

Repeat attempt at elective gender scan fail. They told me I could come back for another peak since they had a hard time getting a decent view last week. It was even worse this week. Peanut had legs crossed at the feet blocking the crotch AND the cord was down between the legs. Two things completely blocking the crotch. The best I got was "Well the skull is really round so it's more likely a girl and baby appears to have very delicate facial features too." It's still a couple weeks early to start using skull measurements in terms of gender, but it measured 4 days behind gestational age, which is allegedly an indicator of a girl. Both my boys had wide skulls that measured at least a week bigger starting at the anatomy scan.
