Man I have to say I have been really beating the odds haha having 3 boys in a row 3/100 chance
have a little girl with down syndrome at 27 should have been like 1/1300 the doctor said
but both of these I'm so happy and thankful that I did beat the odds I honestly feel like I won the lottery!!!! Couldn't be more blessed! =0)

LOL at the telling the nurse you fell and your belly hurts, to get another u/s. I was going on for like a week or two wondering if there was anything I could say or do so they would give me another one cause I wanted to check out the nub again myself! haha Decided I would just wait and see though.

Honestly if at 13 wks 1 day the nub wasnt raised at all I would say you have at least a 75% chance of having a girl, not trying to get your hopes up but from what I have read and all the u/s pics I have seen you can tell a BIG difference in a 12 wk scan verses a 13 wk scan!!! That's exciting!!! After researching so much I wish I would have waited until 13wks to have mine done oh well, will find out soon enough I guess! =0)

I think some people honestly are just jealous and that is why they say the things they do. We also hear things like oh wow your having another one 5 kids thats crazy, I always say yes we always wanted a big family and have been very blessed and add not everyone can handle a BIG family of children! =0)
I wouldnt let them get to you, if your little one does any end up being a girl which seems to be a very good chance than they will be the ones that was wrong. =0)

Well putting the bbt under my pillow was a bad idea. It has disappeared. I can't find it.
Might be the universe telling me to just quit temping again for a while lol.

Freaks.

Not that it means anything for me, but no one in either side of our family has more than two of the same in a row.

I found an interesting study where your first trimester screen hormone levels combined with neck thickness are very indicative of gender. It seems to be true most of the time, but then it depended on which website I went to. Those oh so "brilliant" people at in-gender were talking about it there and were doing it wrong and swearing the theory was crap, or were making up stuff like taking progesterone causes really high hCG levels (yeah, tell that to all the infertility patients who don't have that with all their supplements) and someone else said vegetarians have much higher levels of some hormone because of B12 in veggies. LOL! Another gender website I am on that's much friendlier was doing it correctly and there only seems to be one wrong that posted out of 30-ish correct ones. Basically high hormomes above the mean/normal (MoM is multiples of the mean so 2.0 MoM would be twice the average) for both readings is highly suggestive of a girl and the neck thickness below the mean is suggestive of a girl as well.

Here are my first trimester screen results:
HCG: 2.42 MoM, 95th percentile
PAPP-A: 4.47 MoM, 99th percentile
NT: 1.1 mm, -.43 delta, 25th percentile

With the boys they only did the blood work and though I don't have the MoM and numbers from it I had been given the percentages and RJ's hormone levels were in the 30s and Brighton's were right at 50%, so totally average and also surprising since his levels doubled so quickly at first they thought he was a molar pregnancy. All three of my results suggest girl and I'm guessing is why my doctor said all the info gathered at my screen was suggestive of a girl this time. If my second trimester blood work shows a low AFP that would also suggest a girl, but it's less correlated because it's affected by past pregnancies and how close together they are.

BAH. Here comes some TMI to spice up the day!

Yesterday was the first day I've taken a test in a long while, because I had some pain while hubs and I were doing it. Last time I felt that, I was in the first trimester. Even though I knew it was near impossible for me to be pregnant, I POAS anyways.

The end result being that it was negative (DUH) but I revived my addiction for POAS. And also, I really should have known better...

The reason for the pain?

I'm an idiot. I fell asleep after we messed around with some chocolate syrup...

Now I have a yeast infection. HOORAY.
