Robbie was just whining tonight that he thinks it's a little soon to TTC. Oh well. It's not like he does anything to prevent it anyway. I told him my goal was still a Halloween baby so he had a few months before I nagged him about it. Besides, I'm still working on my weight loss.

But I'll gladly take an oops baby and obsess over my signs without him knowing about it. Hence, it's casually TTC/not preventing. LOL

I think after all your hard work you totally deserve an "oops" baby

oh please do help
Ok, so TECHNICALLY we are ntnp.
But i'm trying to pay attention to my cycles a bit. I have one child, and i've had a grand total of THREE periods since having her. I exclusively was bfing. One when she was 6 months, and one when she was 12 months Aug 2nd, then another sept. 27th . I stopped breastfeeding August 27th. So there were 8 weeks between the aug and sept one.
So, if going by that 8 week date, technically i should be due tomorrow. We've had three incidents where the condom wasn't used (which really kind of led us to ntnp). I've had cramps on and off for weeks, and pimples really bad on my face (which usually go with my af) and then nothing.
So, i checked my cervix today. I found a drop of blood- which could mean af, but... usually for me, i only get it during O or during af and then it's there immediately- not a drop and then nothing. And i'm not O'ing i checked my ferning microscope. But then again, who knows anything nothing is normal since having lo. Well my cervix is low, soft, and SUPER open. i mean, really really open.
Anyone have any ideas? I know when you get af you usually have it low hard and closed right? i think. i used to do the cp when i was ttc in 2010 but it's been so long i feel like i'm learning everything again.

I'm no help with the cervix thing, but if you just stopped breastfeeding, it may take some time for your cycles to go back to normal. You might not be quite ready for your period yet. Mine still isn't back to a specific day yet, and I've had 3 in the past 4 months.

thanks love, i just got it today (of COURSE after i post that ) so i'm feeling good about it. However, still kind of sad about it all. Maybe that's a sign i want another? or maybe just hormones! So it's coming right now every 8 weeks. at least that's something i guess

Your cervix opens for AF. If it were closed up, how would the blood come out? Some people get a really mushy cervix with AF, others hard. It depends on how your hormone levels have dropped at the time AF started.

i guess you're right it just has always been hard and def. not that open for af for me in the past.

BFN. I had a super faint line on a cheapie yesterday but I think it was likely an evap or the antibody strip. FRER this morning BFN.
