Back hurting after Epidural?

My back is still hurting from the Epidural....did anyone else have this issue? If so how long did it last? I feel like it needs to pop and it wont...I can point exactly to the spot where they put it in too :-(

Yep, mine always feels like that. It's gotten better, though.

Lol yeah i wont be getting a epi this time! My back hurt until my son was 6 months old!

From what I heard it hurts for a while it hurts and then it goes away
but when it gets cold the back starts hurting again. I think that's just something women live with for the rest of their lives...? Not too entirely sure though

my back still hurts on occasions and my daughter is a year old.

yep mine still feels like that 17 months later it eases with time yet cold weather always sets mine off i hope urs feels better soon oh btw i would invest in those heat wraps i use them when it gets too unbearable

ohhh yes!! i took me about 8 months for that feeling to finally go away. if my so presses too hard when he's giving me a message i can still feel that spot 1 year later. im NOT getting an epi with my next baby, i dont care how much pain im in!!!

My back gives me all kinds of problems around my epidural site and it's been 6 years.. Going to a chiropractor helped me immensly though

my back hurt for two weeks after i had my LO. and it was in the spot where i had my epi. but it went away. i hope your back gets to feeling better :]

Mine hurt for a few days post partum but nothing too painful.

This is why I wont be getting the epidural... unless Im desperate lol

My back still hurts and my daughter is 2 months. It sucks. If I have a 2nd child I'm NOT getting the epi. Mostly cuz the one I got with my daughter didn't even work.

I had my son a year ago and still have bad back problems. I can't stand or sit for too long.

i dont want to get an epi for this reason, i hear alot of ladies say there back hurts after an epi.

I had AWFUL back pain and headaches for weeks afterwards. I'd much rather have just had bad pain for one day than random bad pain for weeks while taking care of a baby
