re: Back hurting after Epidural?

I never had any problems during or afterwards? I wonder what it is that makes your back hurt??

I dunno apparently it tells you on that paper that you have to sign... My contractions were a freakin minute apart if that so I was NOT going to read it and my signature looked worse than a 1st graders lol

my back hurt really bad for months after, and still hurts on occasion.
but i would definately rather suffer from the back pain than all the labor pain and contractions!

I had the same problum it worked for 5 hrs out of 19 hours of actice labor. After that i felt it all and now here it is 2 months later and my back still really hurts.

Stupid nurses talking me into the damn thing.
Yeah, I regret it, my back hurts too. :[ it sucks.
NEVER AGAIN.

I've got bad news- my youngest is almost three and I still have tingling on that spot where the put the epidural. I have three kids, the 1st time I did it they misses my spine, twice, then it numbed everything bellow my belly button except my bladder and legs ( I didn't need a catheter because I could use the bedpan). My 2nd kiddo they missed, but I felt nothing during, but kept having spasms and phantom pains . My third kiddo it stopped working all together- felt everything . Now if I sit a curtain way or go into hot or cold water/air I get a pain that shoots from that spot up to the back of my skull. Rack rubs or laying on the floor causes discomfort and sometimes pain.

mine randomly hurts but it istn't that big of a deal for me. my baby is 2 months old now

My son is 16 months old and my back still bothers me. More than bothers actually.. just hurts like idk what.

I've had pain in my coccynx after having had 2 cesareans. I have had the pain in between my surgeries and after the second one. I blame both of my epidurals on the pain!
By the way, the coccynx is the tailbone.
This last cesarean - I believe I had some SERIOUS lower back pain during the first week after having my daughter.

Ihad this same problem and it sucked so bad.. I actually ended up having back spasms because of it.. it went away after a month or so..

Im 19days pp. and my back hurts a little still but nothing like it did. The bad pain went away around 12days pp for me.

I had my son five months ago and my back still hurts from the epidural. It constantly hurts it wont go away or ease up. its also bruised inside from the needle. What cant i do or why is it like that.
