I 100% suck at point and shoot cameras so I am very impressed with how sharp that night photo came out.

  I've gotten used to using it because thats all i have. it just sucks because its over 5 years old now.

well it obviously doesn't suck when it's in your hands, haha  

i busted out my P&S last week...it takes crap shots now, and it feels so weird in my hands, lol i kept trying to adjust stuff and then i'd think...oh yeah...can't do that

haha! stuff doesn't really adjust on mine, either. I can't wait till i get a bit of money to get a new one

Nah don't get suck into the old camera shtick. 5 MP is all an average consumer needs. If you want to blow up your pics to poster size often- then you might want to consider upgrading. But otherwise, if it ain't broke- don't fix it!

I want to update my camera but not because it's old- but because I am outgrowing it and my knowledge will eventually be more than what my camera can do- if that makes sense? But I will not actually get rid of my current camera. Nothing wrong with it.

Now my point and shoot....I DO want another one. And not because it's almost 3 years old. It just sucks. Has from the day we bought it. Your camera does NOT suck- it takes great pictures!  It's a keeper!

i really like my dslr. i think something may have gone haywire in my P&S. or i'm just not used to live view anymore lol

lol it is a keeper! However, I want to be able to do things. more than just take a normal picture.

That's what I did. I eventually got a fixed lens camera- I dunno what you wanna call it but it's like in between a point and shoot and a dslr. Then eventually I wanted more...so I got the dslr. The tricky part is lining up your finances when you are trying to get another camera hahaha!

no kidding! We're so stretched right now, I won't have a new camera til i'm 60 at this rate

LOL I'm pretty sure by the time I get the camera I want 2 more will have come out to replace it, the one I wanted will be discontinuedand I won't be able to afford the new ones either.

i took this yesterday and thought it might be fun to play around with. and his shoes are just too cute, lol
