Just keep your head up! People are afraid of what they don't know. We're here to support you!   Good luck, mama.

Do you have a midwife or a doctor?

I have a doctor, I guess i'm pretty lucky because he's really good and listens to what i want and I'm pretty sure that he will make sure that things are the way i want them. You see i had a really rough start with my pregnancy, I was really sick the first few months and my doctor was amazingly gental and helpful. I just hope that i can do this all natural, it's reallyirratating that most people think that i can't do it just because it's painful to have a baby.

It's good that he's supporting your decision!   We believe in you. It does hurt to have a baby, but so what? Life is worth it.

You Know I went back and forth with the name until I found out he really was a boy. I didn't know that, but i really like it even if it is a little old fashioned.

I'm due over a month before you and still can't think of any names! Although i want something unusual, i think traditional names are really nice, much better than the common 'trendy' names people use these days.

As for the pain.. pain is there to signal when something is wrong, but with labour you know that the pain is good and it means progress so it should be easier to deal with. I got sent the wrong hypnotherapy CDs but i can't wait to get the home birth one through and start 'training' myself for it. I know in the classes they teach you to numb parts of your body, it's really incredibly what the mind can do - and knowing you're getting a baby at the end of it, you can't beat that!

I did hypnobabies, I have read a lot of reviews and people that did both prefer this method.

Google"Natal Hypnotherapy", its the UK version of the Mongan method. If you look at the stats for it, it's far better (- coming from those who've done it and the stats for births;duration of labour, pain relief used, intervention, satisfaction rated type things).

Theres the;
- Pregnancy relaxation - to help overcome pregnancy complaints and birth fears
- Effective birth preparation - for hospital, home or multiple birth
- Relaxing birth music - uses the same background music as the birth prep CD, to trigger your responses and relaxation/visualation techniques
- Post Natal Recovery
- Breast Feeding Companion.

I think it was £50 for the set or £16 each new,NCT do it. But you can buy it on ebay for about £35, or individually for about £7 each.

I got another one from ebay for like £2 inc postage! It was a fertility one, and i conceived that month after TTC for a year!! I got the same brand Natural Childbirth and Post Natal Depression ones in a set for £3.50 posted and am really hopeful they'll help

Hey ladys, sim having a problem. I cant decide is i want to vaccinate Dina. I always said no but b/c my husband is all for it hes putting shit in my head and now i dont know what to do. The thing is he knows all the pros in vaccination and i know all theh cons. He thinks all the bad stuff you hear about it is bullshit. I keep going back and forth about it. My midwife said she did with all her kids. Her words are "i dont vaccinate myself but thats myself. This is the health of my kids. Thats a different story." I agree BUT look at the stuff that can happen if you do. My mom says i shouldnt, my sister does too. She didnt vaccinate her kids. I think i would have stuck with what i decided in the first place if my husband wasnt all for it. UgH! Im just so damn scared if i do!
