Well yea, obviously C sections have their place when they are neccessary... but a lot of times they arent.

mine was an emergency c-section and had nothing to do with my body not being able to go into labor. i was 30 weeks and sick. so now i can't have a VBAC (unless i give birth out of state).  

...Did any one see that Rikki Lake pro-natural child birth movie? 

I had both kiddos naturally. I wouldn't have had it any other way. I made them take out the IV as soon as I had delievered.

Yes you could. What about a home birth?

I'm not sure. I saw a baby story not to long ago and the mom did it fine. I think she waited 3 or 4 years before getting pregnant again.

NO!! Not at all. Rupture only got associated with VBAC because they were using artificial stuff like pitocin to induce with a VBAC, and that is risky. Augmenting labor artificially causes unnaturally long and strong contractions that can put too much stress on the incision site.
Natural labor has virtually no higher chance of rupture than non VBAC moms.

i don't plan on it for a while. and my son is 15 months old. i just don't want another c-section.

that might work then. i hate hospitals. i wanted a home birth with my first but we would have died had i stayed pregnant longer. next pregnancy i'm predicted to have a completely normal pregnancy and my body is IDEAL for a VBAC except oklahoma doesn't allow them. verbatim from my doctor.

I think you should be fine since you plan on waiting. If I TTC again I plan on having a home birth.

it will at least be another year to two years before i'd even consider getting pregnant.
