tubal reversal anyone on here have one?

posted 19th Mar
I had a tubal in july of last year. now i want to reverse it. I could swing the money if i choose to, but i dont have an extra 5200. just laying around that couldnt be used somewhere else. so it is a big deal. it is one thing to say hey lets try to get pregnant and if it happens it happens, it is another to pay 5200. cash to do it.
my question is. Did you have it done and how long till you got pregnant, or have you not, have you miscarried, etc.

I am really thinking i may do this.

My mom had it done and never managed to become pregnant--but then again she only had one functioning ovary.

Good luck!

thats sad

OP, atleast you didnt get the Essure, the surgical steel in your fallopian tubes, thats a non reversable blockage

good luck to you

i didnt get the essure.
The reversals are so different today than in the past. they can be done as an outpatient procedure. there is a 15% chance of tubal pregnancys and miscarriage is higher .

i am in the same boat kind of..... I had a one when i had my son back in Sep 2007 i have done alot of looking into doc and other things. There is a doctor in GA that does it high reviews and they have a payment plan or you can apply for loans or whatever for it..its called Lakeshore surgical Center in Gainesbille GA. you can go visit them at www.pregnantagain.com they sent me a bunch of info, you get an opritive report and they tell you based on that repost the liklyhood of having it put back would work banks that except applications for loans for this are Regions. washinton mutual , Bank of america sun trust, washovia , citi bank wells Fargo and chase. I myself dont have the credit for a loan and decided that if i cant afford it then i cant afford another baby as they cost more then the amount it would cost for the surg. I had 2 inch of each one of my tubes removed * dident knwo they did it that way until i saw report*. They said the chances of pregnancy is slim to none, and if i where to become pregnant most likly it would end in an etopic because of the 1 inch gone on both sides. I know a days they have a higher rate of people becoming pregnant, I also know that my doc told me that doing it withen the first 5 years is best and if you have problems getting pregnant IVF is the best choice * shrugs* hope that helped some
