Pro-Life thread/sanctuary

This thread is for people who are pro-life to get together and discuss any issues surrounding abortion that they wish to discuss.

This is to be a sanctuary for pro-life posters, to have the freedom to discuss issues without censure from those who have opposing views.

We ask that you kindly respect this request and not bombard this thread with pro-choice posts as there is also a pro-choice thread which is a sanctuary for pro-choice posters.

Wow, I didn't even know this part existed, I just clicked on the side when the topic was made...but now that I'm here...I was just wondering what you other prolife ladies thought..... I am very pro-life and am wondering if any other pro life ladies disagree with the name of this forum, I personally don't think that abortion and survivor should be in the same sentence... maybe like abortion forum or something more generic but I think of a survivor as someone that was handed something they didn't choose and made it through..like cancer, not a choice. thoughts?

There is a pro-life thread/sanctuary sticky, and a pro-choice thread/sanctuary sticky in this new abortion support forum. I dont see what the confusion is. The other posts in the forum are just abortion related posts and questions that were moved to this new forum now that it has been established. I hope that helps clear things up.

I agree, I don't go come into this forum and only did because C is in my PT so I wanted to see what the thread was. (I am pro-life) I don't really see how survivor fits, but I guess technically it does.

3. a person who continues to function or prosper in spite of opposition, hardship, or setbacks.

The new forum was established based on definition number 3.

Thank you so much! I am very much, 100% pro-life. I hate having to hold my tongue to those pro-choicers. I do not judge, or even feel it is my place to judge, those who have had abortions. But I cannot believe in life & my faith in God while supporting abortion. Life is too precious. I believe that the soul enters this world at conception. I don't understand those who feel they have the "right" to take away a life that God put here.

That being said, even though I don't condone abortion, I pray for those who have had them everyday. I'm sure they did what they felt was right at the moment, but God will have his judgement one day. I pray for their forgiveness.

Never mind,

I just went and looked in this forum and they both say the same thing. When they showed in in posts made by my PT it only said Pro-choice thread or something, so I was confused.

I retract my question.  

With regards to the name of the forum, it was chosen by Mara.

She might be amenable to changing it, I'm not certain. It's always worth asking her. I'd guess she has a reason for titling it the way she did, though.
