you have to ask and tell .
when i went to the Er, i told them i was having them pains & i told them i had gallstones could they checked it, and sure enough they did and that was the problem.

it's not good to just sit through the pain because you don't have the money to get it fixed, my liver was failing and my pancreas's was infected it wasn't good i went my pregnancy with it .

No one checked it.


On the last visit a nurse came in and said; "Does it hurt right here?"
And pushed, I said; "Yes."
And she said; "I think its your gallbladder but the doctor is refusing to check."

So I went to another hospital, where when I told them, they checked.

yeah they told me I was having panic attacks.
i remember being in the kitchen one day, and baking some cookies.
i was pregnant too , i just bent over really fast and cried because the pain just came out of no where, dropping my plate of cookies and breaking the glass. my boyfriend flipped he thought i was in labor.

doctors are really stupid for not checking it, especially in a pregnant/ was pregnant woman being how common they are in pregnancy

I know. I had to call my cousin to see if it ran on my dads side. I don't know my dad and I've never met him... soo.....   Yeah, I had to call and ask. That sucks.

When I called to make an appointment today they told me to go to the ER. Eff that! I'm not going to sit at an ER here in NOLA and wait for some homeless bitch to cut me, eff that smurf! LOL

I have been to the ER in tears lots of times. And all they do for me is tell me what foods to stay away from an give me meds. They won't do the surgery. My mom is a nurse here at this E.R and she's said shes herd two docs talk about how ppl go in to just get surgery an they try not to do it unless it's a matter of life an death. I'm not poor enough for medicaid for my self or even the indegent program they have here and I'm not rich enough to pay for half of the bill up front. lol

Mine started acting up before Christmas. I finally went to the ER in january when we got insurance. Found out it was my gal bladder.I had the hida scan doone(which sucks by the way)They gave me tylenol 3 & Bentyl & Zantac. I have 2 more weeks to go till my surgury.

Let me tell ya'll.. dont mess around with that stuff a friend of one of our long time friend just died from GalBladder cancer. She wouldnt get herself taken care of when hers started flaring up 9 months ago.

So get it taken care of as soon as possible if you can. Mine gets worse everyday & im scared of surgury but im ready to get it over with.

The surgery is pretty much cake!

I have gallstones.. and they hit me the night after i ate a prime rib from outback... now i fear outback   .. I THOUGHT I WAS DYING... lucky me when i went to the hospital allthough by that time the stone got unstuck... the doc knew excatly what was wrong with me... and gave me some medication and i'm supposed to be getting it out soemtime soon ...

I was sent away several times because they assumed I was just having Anxiety problems.

i had it in 07 when i was pregnant...(the worst time of my life) i was constantly in and out of the hospital because i was sick and couldnt hold nothin down. i was livin w mexicans so there foods are grease but good!! lol i put up w it for almost a yr and after i had my son i had to have surgrey 6 weeks later...and now im fine!!!

dnt worry about the surgrey its really simple all they did on my was cute 4 small incesions and thats it... and the healin was real simple too!! no stiches or stamples!!

in 07 when i was pregnant with my son, i started having gallbladder attacks.
well i didnt know what they were at the time...that's what it was.
but i remember right around when my son was 3 weeks old i had a really bad attack.
i couldn't breath,
it hurt to move, but also hurt to sit still...it was the worst pain ive ever been in. well after having the bad pains for about6 hours my mom took me to the ER. they did a x ray and an ultrasound.
told me i had gall stones and the one was stuck in my bowl duct, and with it being stuck made me have pancreatitis.
they admitted me.
i wason a no food/water diet, everything by IV, for 5 days.
i was put under twice.
once to do an ERCP.
to remove the gall stone that was blocking my bowl duct.
and again to have my gallbladder removed.

i was lucky i was only in the hospital for a week.
the Dr told me after i had my surgery that if i didnt come in when i did i could of died. =[[
