What month did your baby say first word?

At what month did your baby say its first word? Just curious, my baby is three months and she can repeat 'no" or "yeah" they are easy words but i know my husband and i FREAKED out but not sure ifweshouldnt be feeling special since they are simple words lol...... :

At 3 months it is just babbling.... my son is 6 months and can say "Hi" and "Ama" (Mama)... but I still think thats babbling also.

at 3 months its just babble.... it may SOUND like she is saying Yeah or no, but i dont count it as a "1st Word" until they know what they are saying... Most babies say their 1st word around or close to 12 months...

Babies will often imitate sounds they hear. I don't consider that "first"words. My son's first word(that he understood) was "Dada" and "Baba".

mabey she is saying sounds that are close to the words but i dont think there brains are developed that far at 3 months...most 3 month olds dont laugh or have barely smiled

my 8 month old can say mama and mean mama, as in she wants me!!! its so exciteing she just started doing it. but we aare trying to get her to say dada before my hubbys basic graduation

I agree whatever it is my daughter is 'saying' has no logic to her, thats why i sorta call it 'repeating" but it still a little crazy, hell, maybe i am the crazy one LOL.
gonna post the video as soon as i figure it out here...

Yeahhhhh my daughter is 3 1/2 months and babbles and coos a lot. It can sound like words but usually they are just blurting out sounds with no understanding of what they are saying. They will "talk" to you by cooing back at you when you talk to them but it is not intentional language.
