Had An Amnio Done Yesterday...

Well, yesterday we had an amniocentisis done and that was quite an experience, but not as bad as I thought it would be. Found out her lungs are just about ready. We were going to be induced last night, but now will be induced 5pm on tues night. She measured in at over 9lbs so we are still praying that we can have a vaginal delivery, I am scared of a c-section and am hoping to avoid that. So will let you all know what happens this week, she should be here sometime wed so everyone please keep your fingers crossed I can deliver her vaginally!!! Will let you all know how it goes. Thanks so much for all the support and advice you all have given me throughout this pregnancy!  

good luck sweetie , my daughter was 8lbs, 7 oz I was also induced andtried to push for 2 hrs and her head was stuck, i had to have a c-section...but it wasn't all that bad ..if you do don't worry about it at all you'll be just fine. If you have any ?'s just pm me Ill be happy to explain everyhting to you

Good luck, I hope you get your vaginal delivery!

I have a ways to go, but I feel the same way. I walk 3 times a walk for 40 mins to try to keep my body strong. I dont want a c-section either. Hope all goes well for you!
