how much??

How much does your 3 month old baby weigh or how much did your baby weigh at 3 months? my baby is a premie and weights a little over 10lbs. I just want to know if he's really far behind. He was 3lbs10oz when he was born and he will be 3 months in 7 days.

I would say he is catching up pretty well. My premie was within normal limits at 3 months when he weighed almost 12 pounds. Now my 4 month old now (he was a full-term baby and weighed 7 lbs 11 0z at birth) - was considered overweight at 3 months he was 14 pounds.

Wow 14lbs....I have a cousin that has a 6 month old that weights 14lbs and a half and he was 6lbs 14oz at birth.

LOL I know he is huge! Thankfully he is long too so he actually isn't too chubby. He is actually almost 16 lbs now- at 4 months. All my babies have grown fast, and put on a lot of weight til they start crawling- my 2 and 3 year old are both 33 lbs and 35 lbs but are 36 and 38 inches in height so they are healthy.

wow, that's great! My son was only 6 weeks early and he was 5 lbs. 15 oz. Now he's 3.5 months and he's 12 lbs.

My kids were between 9 and 10 pounds at 3 months.
