I was actually speaking to the distributor of the Rock Star Baby stroller because they also carry the Pico 4 and I had some questions about it. He happend to mention that the RSB stroller can carry an infant up to 40lbs and that they will soon be changing the brochure to reflect that number.

I saw that it can hold up to 40 lbs. or 36" tall. Does anyone have this stroller? I want to know how you like it. I'm comparing a few different strollers and trying to narrow it down. I want something that will last long so I only have to buy one stroller but not spend a fortune.

Sheila-
Where can I get info on the RSB? I have been searching all day for a retail location so I can look at one but can't find out anything. How can I contact the distributer?
Thanks!

I went to the website gtbaby.com and get info on there. I think the weigh limit is 40lbs. You can email them too, info@gtbaby.com. They are very quick to respond and helpful. They also have a link on the website for store locations and online stores.

I don't have one, but I'm looking into buying one soon. I'm due in Sept and have researched diff. strollers and found this one to be the best one. It may be a little more expensive than your average stroller, but you're going to get what you pay for. At least thats what I think. I'm glad that I could help you. Also, there is a really good website that helps you...www.letsgostrolling.com. I found it one day and you can fill in a stroller consultation, which you enter everything you want in a stoller. They email you back with suggestions on different stollers and give you a lot of helpful info on them. I emailed them back and forth a few times. I was deciding on b/w the Valco Runabout and the RSB stoller. I think the RSB stroller will be a good choice for me, hopefully.

I came accross that website today as well but they are closed for a bit at a trade show so no suggestions for a bit. Do you have any additional info you can share? I am curious to know if it closes down completely with one had unlike the bugaboo. I originally wanted one of those but once I saw it and how complicated it was I decided against it. I'm due in sept too by the way.

If you give me your email, I can forward you all the info I have on it including my consultation from letsgostrolling.com. It included a comparison, but b/w the Valco and RSB. I think there is some info maybe in there about how it closes. I'm not sure off hand too. It's Sept. 19th by the way and we just found out last wk that its a boy!!!

Hi- I compared the RSB and the bugaboo in side by side comparisons last weekend at a store in SF area that sold both of them. THe RSB can be closed with the seat on it as long as the seat is facing out (the world and not you). It is heavy at all most 24lbs with the seat on. If you plan to use it in reverse mode like I am planning on doing then you MUST REMOVE the seat before folding the stroller thus doing it in two parts just like the bugaboo. I have heard people complain that the bugaboo is difficult to fold and I thought so at first too but then the salesperson at the store showed me how it is done and I found it soooooo easy.
THE RSB seat is a pain to put on and off the chassis because it has to be hooked onto the metal rod just right and since you cannot see the underside of the seat, it is a hit or miss operation. Meaning that sometimes it is easy and other times you can spend five to ten minutes trying to hook it on without bending down and looking under it whereas the bugaboo just clips right in in seconds.
I was all set to buy the RSB but after trying both out, I much prefer the bugaboo. Also - the bugaboo is much lighter by almost 5lbs and has a bigger bassinet. The only thing I liked better about the RSB is the way the chassis opens. SImilar to the snap and go opening.
ANother comparison is that the RSB storage bag is really small.....actually smaller than the bugaboo if you can believe it. My husband and I feel that the RSB is a nice stroller but really don't want the hassle of clipping on the seat each time. If you are used to a snap and go (one of those car seat only carriers) then the bugaboo is not any more of a hassle. please feel free to email me directly if you have any more questions at nikidiekmann@hotmail.com

Thank you for your response and info. I don't understand, however, what you are saying about the closing part. So, do you have to remove the seat when you close the stoller? I didn't quite understand why you would have to remove the seat other than to put the pram on and off.

I don't understand either? If you plan on using the RSB the right side it will close in one operation without having to take the seat off correct? I went to see the bugaboo and to be honest did not think the fabric or workmanship of it was worth the 800. Having said that I have not seen a RSB up close and personal so I am not sure if I will indeed like it.
Laurieslu - if you could email me the info you have I would so appreciate it! cwassny@aol.com. Thanks so much!
