my baby crawls!!

I can't believe it! I was sitting on the floor, trying to get him to crawl to me-more just playing around, not thinking he actually would. and he did!!! and he was so proud of him self, giggling with glee the whole way. SO CUTE! Now I just have to get it on film. He's about 6.5months now. A lot sooner then my first which is why I so wasn't expecting it I guess

Ayla didn't crawl till almost 10 months. She has been slow to do everything.

Aw yay! my daughter is 7 mos and not crawling =(. i've been doing tummy time with her and encouraging her to crawl. any advice???????????

lol I don't know. I just put some of the toys he really likes or a cookie/cracker thingy a bit out of his reach so he'd go for it. but he figured out that he could just plop onto his tummy rollover and sit up and thats how he would get around and get what he wanted. 
I think 6 months is a little younger then normal when it comes to crawling. So don't worry, you girl will crawl in no time  
he's also been pulling himself up on furniture more lately too. (not up on top, but just up into standing position)

ooooh ok. yeah my daughter likes to grab onto things and stand. and that's the way my daughter moves around too. lol. i'll put her on the bed and literally turn around for 2 seconds, and she's all the way on the other side. she likes rolling around to get around. it's cute. but now that i know your first took a little longer, i don't feel so bad. i just hear so many stories of babies crawling so early and thinking my daughter is behind. which isn't the case. thanks, mama.
