weve been using withdraw ;o) i wouldnt mind getting pregnant again and i have severe side effects from the pill.

I saw this commercial for this pill called PLAN B. You're supposed to take it the morning after or asap after sex to prevent becomming pregnant. It says it's for when you think your BC didn't work or something like that. I don't really get it; it sounds pretty much like the regular BC.

Anyone ever tried/heard of it?

Who is on the Depo shot? I'm starting to think it was a bad bad idea for me.

It's the morning after pill it's not birth control, it's for when its an emergency thats why its called emergency contraceptive

you didn't talk about the implanon implant- it is suppose to last 3 yrs before needing to be removed. removal isn't exactly "simple & easy" & it can cause a really messed up period as well.but i am not sure of the side affects & the statistic rate on gettin pregnant. i know they told me it was slim to none. & the only side affect i knew of and noticed in myself was acne more often. it messed my prd all up. for 9 months i dealt with a period that about 3 weeks outta the months. it was like 5-6 days then off a couple or 3 then back on 5-6 etc. they told me to wait it out till at least six months. i did. i waited 3 months longer and still it never worked itself out (so i had it removed). i have a friend who also had it and she said it did the same to her.

I just got Implanon put in a few weeks ago.

i recently had the implanon removed, a week ago in fact. i had it for almost nine months and it was a big mistake. it didn't hurt going in, expecially after having a baby it was nothing. lol. but, it caused me to bleed ALLLLL the time. no kidding. they told me to wait it out for six months at least cause it can regulate. but it never did, it got worse. in the end i was having a prd. three times a month for nearly a week at a time   not good!! what's the pt in having it if i can't have sex? plus i think it messed up my sex drive. literally i have had it out for a week now and went str8 on the pill and haven't had a prd YAY lol, it is the longest i've went without a prd in months. i chose the implanon for the same reasoning bc i am bad with trying to take a pill on time. but i am taking tri cylcen lo and i have been doing good so far at taking it almost exactly on time. i must say it is way easier than having my prd all the time and i've already noticed a difference in my sex drive. they say you can gain weight on this pill, but so far so good, ha. i think you just need to control your eating with this pill, bc my friend said all it is, is that it causes you to be hungry more often. the implanon hurt when it got removed and it made me naseaus feeling them tug it out. ugh.   & they had to cut my skin a little more. it does leave a ugly lil scar. but that wasn't my concern... it just sucked having it removed, bc it isn't a piece of cake. your stuff inside your skin like attatches or something and so they have to cut and yank till it comes out. eww & gross. ha. i advise something other than. --- i am not the only one who has had bleeding prblms either, my SIL also had the same issue.

Implanon hasnt coused any problems for me yet. my sex drive is still the same.
It didnt hurt for me to get it put in and I didt even bleed or bruise.

i smoke and am on the pill doesthe make it not as effetive?

It sounded really awesome so I tried it. Just my personal story ... a week or so into it, I had the most erratic mood changes - I chose to stop after feeling uncharacteristically depressed. It scared me a little!

Extreme heat and cold can affect any drug. They have recommended temperature ranges on most drug packaging for this reason. That's not to say that leaving your pills in the car will definitely ruin them, but it could!

Sort of like expiry dates ... once it's past, you might not want to use a drug since it may have lost some of its "zing".

Well i know for a fact that not all BC is effective bc when i got pregnant with my son i was on the pill and using condoms. Now after i had my son
i have the Mirena which is a IUD and i havent had any problems with it so far. i really like it.
