I'm currently on the pill (Velivet) but I'm thinking of going off it. I've been taking the pill for over 6 years and I feel like I'm moody all the time. What would you girls recommend for me instead of the pill? Also, my boyfriend is not to keen on using condoms...

I am thinking about going on Mirena. I am not to good at taking pills, so I know with my luck I would end up pregnant again. For those of you that have Mirena..Did it hurt going in? And how soon do you know its working? I am just afraid of getting pregnant again. Would it be in our best intrest to use condoms for the first month that I have it, or is it something that once its in your good to go.
I had my son 4 weeks ago, and my fiance is counting down the days till we can do it again. I told him not until I am on birth control.

im about to be put on Implanon. its a small rod placed in my arm.. becuase i suck at taking pills, my dr said it wouldnt be a good idea to use the mirena if i wasnt in a monogonous [or whatever]relationship, the nuvaring my friend got really bad infections so im scared, my mom used the shot and got pregnant, and the patch as well.. so im like wtf do i do. yes ill still use condoms. but does anyone know about the Implanon? if so could you please fill me in a lil better!

I'm really interested in that implanon!!!! I've been through hell and back with BC pills, and then I was on depo and hated it. It sounds amazing. I dont want another kid for 3+ yrs so its tempting!!!

i went to my "counseling" for the implanon and it sounds great..lol except my nurse said you could bleed at any time for any period of time becuase its an only protosrogeon or w.e. hormone.so yeah. and she said it can cause ur period to come at any time..which i dont like bleeding. lol :|

Bummer. Saw my GP today and he said he doesnt like doing the implanon anymore due to scaring and such I was really hoping for it. The bleeding doesnt sound too fun tho lol

Well I tried the pills and still got pregnant so now I am getting the tubal ligation and my husband is going this month to have a vasectomy.

I decided to have sex for the first time after having E last night and I was so parinoid of getting pregnant again so we used condoms with spermicide plus I'm on seasonique. What's the chance of getting pregnant again if used properly?
