Do you mind me asking what kind of pills you were taking? I hear of a lot of people who get pregnant or even have a short period and are pregnant while using the pill and never know it until the symptoms start.

If there is a penis in and or around your vagina, you can get pregnant. They only thing that is 100% effective is abstinence.

This is very true! Just wondering if something like Plan B could effect my fertility. I also had to have a biopsy due to pre cancerous cells being found in my uterus and the doctor said that wouldn't effect anything so I would assume Plan B wouldn't either. Just didn't know if anyone had had any experience with that.

HAS ANYONE HAD PROBLEMS WITH THE IUD ??? I THINK I WOULD LIKE TO GET THAT. IVE TRIED PILLS BUT WITH TWO KIDS I PROBABLY WONT REMEMBER ALL THE TIME AND IVE TRIED THE PATCH BUT IT STARTS TO COME OFF WHEN YOU TAKES SHOWERS. SO ANY THOUGHTS ABOUT THE IUD. MY ONLY CONCERN IS I DONT WANT IT TO PARALIZE ME OR SOMTHING SO I CANT HAVE KIDS ANYMORE

I hated the nuvaring. I had a yeast infection for three damned months because I had an allergy to one of the materials its made from.

I love the patch, but I got pregnant on it

The shot is HORRIBLE.

Maybe try an IUD. They have the Mirena which is plastic and releases hormone directly into you uterus, and the Paragard which is copper and has no chemicals.

might be a silly ? but does it hurt to have it put in or taken out? my friend told me the shot made her gain weight like crazy but i wasnt sure if that was just her or what.
which IUD is more effective?
and which has less side effects?

Its really crampy to get put in, but doesn't hurt at all to get it taken out.

the shot doesnt work my sister got pregnant on it and gained weight. mirena makes you loose your hair and hurts,paraguard is better,hurts less and doesnt give u cramps im getting that the 13th i cant wait. the patch starts to come off after you take x amount of showers , the ring my friend got pregnant on it

No birth control is 100%. And side effect do occur, but those are very rare. You should always talk to your physician before consulting the internet since you get so many mixed views.

So i need to get on a new birth control ive been on depo and had mirena for 2 years both didnt end well. Ive also been on the pill but not good at remembering to take it and it made me sick. I was wandering if any of you ladies had some suggestions? Thank you

what was wrong with the mirena ??? i heard the paraguard is alot better .i dont think they do the patch anymore
