I will be watching this thread as well! I got preggers with this baby while on Yaz

I wasnt on BC with my first baby. The patch and condom when I got preggers with #2, and the pill and condom with # 3. So heres to hoping that Mirena works!

I was on yasmin with my son, but I took antibiotic and wasn't informed

I'm on yaz currently.

The pull out method only has a 5% difference failure rate then condoms, haha. Not that huge ofa difference!

I use the pill and condoms the week before my period.
It's been working.
But my boyfriend has a varicose vein that chokes the sperm. So low sperm count. So we use pull out except the week before.
I always consider my period a blessing. I'd never go on the depo. but that's just me =]

Does heat lessen the effectiveness of the pill form of BC? I know heat can damage nuva ring...

Not that I know of. Antibiotics can lessen the effectiveness of the pill. If you don't take it at the same time it can also make it less effective.

i wondered this once too,but with cold. i was on yaz and the packaging said something about keeping it in a certain temp range, like 50 - 70...well i went on my honeymoon and my pills got left in the car...in 25 degree below zero weather...and they still worked, lol

hmmmm im wondering, I take mine on time everyday but I keep it in my purse and where I work, I cant take my purse in, so its left in my car that gets overheated

So I guess I can just hope for the best lol

well i live in phoenix arizona, aka hell and as far as i know heat hasnt affected my pills i used to keep them in my purse which i ALWAYS lef`t in my car, not in the garage lol so im pretty sure heat dosent affect the pill

In no way disrespectful, but you or your husband (or boyfriend) has some fertile stuff goin on. Thats insane.

i had the IUD mirana...i got inflamatory pelvic diease within 3 weeks. and let me tell you...i thought i was gonna DIE!!
