Inducing at 3cm? anyone similar?

I am nervous about being induced b/c I have read you are more likely to have to have an emergency c-section that way. But, Dr. said if I am already 3+ cm it will be fine. Anyone with a similar experience, how was it?

With my son I went into labor(not active) on October 14th, his heart rate dropped to about 60 and then went back up, I was 3cm after a few hours I was only 4 cm. They admitted me, after an hour or so I didn't progress and my contractions stopped so they decided to induce me, They put me on pitocin and that didn't do anything for about 3 hours so they broke my water, after my water was broke my contractions started coming strong like crazy but because I was on the pitocin it made my contractions come 30 secs. apart for the rest of my labor, I had got a dose of Nubane(because I didnt wan an EPI at first), made me so out of it, woke up to be checked and I was dialated to 7(this was about 3 hours later) finally decieded to get my EPI. About 20 minutes later I was fully dialated and the baby had completley came down, 5 pushes and he was out. SO I had a pretty decent experience but everyone is different, Good luck you should be fine

With my first son I was induced at 1 1/2 cm's. They started the pitocin at around 8 am and nothing really happened until the doctor broke my water at 12 30pm. By 3pm i was about 3-4 cms dilated and by 7 30 pm i was ready to push, 7:59 pm my son was born.
