Chocolate covered fruits seem to be really popular at bridal showers.

Do you have a theme at all?

Actually, I'm planning with a couple other people---but they don't seem to have a theme. The only problem is there'll be 30+ people there...so chocolate covered fruit is a little difficult. I should have included that in the original question...

We had finger foods at mine and it worked out great. Little sandwichessome with ham and cheese and some with chicken salad, a fruittray, a veggy tray, chips, dips, some pasta salad. Then tea an bottled water to drink. it was simple but people enjoyed it.

My bridal shower has chicken salad on focaccia bread, assorted fruits with a cream cheese dip, veggies and chipswith ranch, there was some type on sweet bars there, some candies, and cake with mock champagne punch which is equal parts white grape juice and ginger ale with frozen raspberries/strawberries on top. It was nice!

You could do a fruit platter with a chocolate fondu type thing using a crock pot  .

Finger foods are great like little sandiches. Salads are also good. Just keep in mind the less mess the food makes the better!
