Kawaii Baby Review

Ok, I took a chance and bought a couple Kawaii Baby diapers. I couldn't find a whole lot of reviews on them, but they are more inexpensive than most brands. I got the Goodnight/heavy wetter one size pocket diaper and the one size pocket Minkee diaper. I have been using cloth for over a year now and have tried so many differrent kinds. The Goodnight/Heavy wetter dipe is on of my all time favs! It fits so good and the outer layer is made of a new Thermoplastic Polyurethane Laminated fabric and it is really amazing! It comes with 2 inserts (that are really nice quality) from onesizediaperstore.com It costs $12.95, but I found it here http://www.baby-gaga.com/outbound.php?post_id=26058928&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.theluvyourbaby.com%2FGoodnightDiapers.htm for only $7.75!
Basically, I just really really like this diaper and wanted to let you guys know!!

My name is Kim and we have been cloth diapering since May '10, and I haven't done this yet
So far we have tried just about every type except for prefolds.
Our current stash is:
3 Smartipants
2 BumGenius AIO
2 BG 3.0
2 Fuzzibunz
3 Green Mountain Diapers prefitteds
2 Thirsties covers
5 Gdiapers
and some other inserts and such.

I would have to say my first favorite is the BG 3.0s and in a close second are the prefitteds
But I haven't been 'Squished' yet

I have been using cloth diapers for a couple months now. I wish I would have started from the get go.
I currently have:
14 ebay cheapies one size pockets
4 bumGenius one size velcro pockts
1 Fuzzibunz pocket size medium
6 old school Kooshies AIOs (they are from the 80's lol)
40 or so prefolds various brands and sizes
6 receiving blankets
50 contour inserts/ diapers
1 Bummis cover white
1 Green Eden cover white
5 bio bottoms wool covers size 27-32 lbs
1 bio bottoms wool cover size 32-45 lbs
3 Gerber pull on vinyl pants
3 Dappi size medium diaper covers

My favorite is bumGenius by far but they are pricey. I love my Fuzzibunz (I got it used for free   ) I mainly use prefolds or flats with covers. My favorite covers by far are the Gerber pull on vinyl pants, they aren't cute but they hold like nothing else and if they get poo in them I just have to rinse. I like my Bummis and Green Eden covers but I have to wash them more often. The Green Eden is wipeable where the Bummis is not. The Biobottoms covers work really well but they don't fit very well (too big for my son). I really don't like the ebay diapers but use them for emergencies (with contour diaper as extra insert) and without an insert for swim diapers. I tend to just use prefolds with pins or snappi (just bought the snappi a couple days ago, love it!) I use smaller prefolds or contour diapers as inserts and they work great. I use the kite and origami folds for my flat diapers (just discovered origami and prefer it) I use the small prefolds or contours as inserts with these as well.
For washing I have a pail with a wetbag liner from Mother Eden (it leaks bad) I don't have a diaper sprayer but recently discovered that the shower head reaches the toilet. I will use this until I can convince my dad to make me a sprayer. I currently use Ecos detergent but want to switch to Soap Nuts or Charlies when I get some money. I do a cold rinse cycle no soap then do a warm wash (no hot option) with soap. I then hang all PUL and vinyl items and put the rest in the dryer. I sometimes use vinegar in the wash to help with smells. I don't have a way to hang dry my diapers outside so I have some stains. I really love cloth diapering and so does Marcellus. He tries to rip off sposies when he has them on and never gets a rash with cloth. I am currently packing for a weekend long trip, I will let you know how that goes.

cheapo ebay with no insert at lake
ebay cheapies super old school Kooshies
That's all I have pics for now. I will post more soon in the chat thread

My name is Julia, and Annie has been in cloth for almost 8 months now. She is almost 11 months.
We currently have:
1 Fuzzibunz perfect fit size small(too small now)
12 Fuzzibunz OS
1 BG 3.0
6 BG 4.0
4 Grovia AI2(another in the mail)
1 Diaperaps hemp w/ fitted cover
1 Best bottom cover w/ overnight insert(works great!)
1 Bumwear OS pocket
We also have 2 Thirsties covers and another Best B cover on the way, along with some overnight and stay dry inserts.
I have a heavy wetter, and so far Best bottoms are the only ones that don't leak at night. Haven't tried Grovia at night yet....
We currently switched our soap to RnG Bare naked babies. The Seventh Gen just wasn't cutting it.

Hi! My name is Kris and my 2 boys are in cloth. It's a new thing for us, but I wish I had started earlier.

Our stash currently includes (in no particular order):
2 WAHM OS Pockets
12 Sunbabys OS
1 Happy Heiny OS
2 BG Artist Series
2 Grovia OS AI2s (and really aching to buy more because I love these)
1 Charlie Banana OS
2 Kawaii Baby OS
2 FuzziBunz OS
3 Rumparooz OS
5 BG 4.0's OS
1 BG AIO OS
2 Flip Covers
4 gDiapers (2 med, 2 large)
1 Kissaluvs Fitted OS
2 Earth Mom & Baby Fitteds OS
1 Thirsties size 2 Cover
1 WAHM OS Hybrid
1 Rumparooz OS Cover
2 Econobum OS Covers
Several prefolds & 2 snappis

We use Charlie's Soap & Baby OxiClean. I started out using Ecover but I couldn't stand the lingering lavender scent on my diapers. I've tried RnG (classic, hard & soft rock formulas) but none of them got my diapers clean and they still smelled of poo out of the washing machine. It just wasn't for us.

When I wash, I do a cold soak (or a cold soak & wash depending on if there were bad poopies) with no detergent. Then I do a hot wash/cold rinse with detergent + baby oxiclean followed by an extra rinse. I tumble dry low my inserts and some pockets (if they have snaps) and hang dry any pockets with velcro closures and any regular covers.

What do you do at night? I love my gdiapers but have been using nighttime super absorbent disposables. I'd love advice
