Hi I am Lindsey! I have one son22 months in cloth diapers. We have been using cloth since Jan. 09. Before that I used gdiapers for awhile.

My stash:

6 Bumgenius OS pocket'sEaster limited Edition
39 prefolds
12 flats
35 goodmama's
3 goodmama one's
1 goodmama goodnights
7 covers in large (6 blueberry os, and 1 Bummis Super Brite)
1 mutt fitted diaper
9 Rumparooz
1 Happy Heiny pocket diaper in size large
3 Tiny Tush elite's
3 Blueberry os snap pockets
6 swaddlebees os snap pockets
1 fleece soaker shorties
5 fleece soakers
6 fleece soaker longies
5 wool longies
2 snappi's
4 sets pins
I use country save soap and have not had too many problems with stains or stink yet. I wash every other day. I use a wet bag instead of a pail. I do spray them off and ring out before putting the poopy ones in wet bag. I am still new and learning and figuring out what I like and don't like. I switched from pampers to gdiapers because of skin issues for my son. Then decided to try cloth to go even more natural for him. I have not looked back since. I love cloth. They are cute, and more comfortable for baby. The way I do them I am not sure if I would say they are cheaper. All of my future children if we have any will be cloth diaper baby's as well. I don't mind questions. PM me if you have any!

Hello, my name is Barbaraand I've been CDing since April of 2007. Yes, almost 2 years now. It feels good to save money and do something nice for the enviroment.

At first I bought3 dozen prefolds and about 4 covers. That worked great for my daughter. I had to wash the diapers ever other day but that was Ok w/me. For newborn, we did end up buying the newborn prefolds but after the first couple of months we switched to standard size and haven't upgraded since.

I've tried the AIO and Pocket, I was okay with them but my DH didn't like them at all and since I wasn't greatly impressed by them never invested that much $ in getting more than one or two.

As for the covers, we like the cheap ones best by inverse (sp). They are simple white and are about 10 bucks. Plus we can buy them ata local baby shop here.

Eventually we switched to a diaper service because I went back to work but now that I have my 2nd baby, I'll be staying at home, so to save $ we'll be washing our own again.

I use a dry pail and currently don't rinse but I am sure I'll have to change that cause my newborn poo will come clean but rather sure my 2 yr old will have a higher need to be rinsed.

In order to wash them I use about 1/4 cup of baking soda and a downy ball filled to the line with white vingar. I use an extra rinse cycle and hot hot water. My diapers always come out clean.

Hi, I'm Jessica.

I've been CDing since Lukas was about 2 months old, so for about 4 months now.

I use prefolds and covers during the day, and fitted/pockets at night. I have 24 standard regular size prefolds and they have worked from 11 lbs to 18 lbs so far.

My favorite brand of covers are Bummis Super Whisper Wrap and Swaddlebees, but I also use Thirsties. In total I have 6 diaper covers.

At night we use the Swaddlebees fitted pocket with a swaddlebees insert and a wash cloth (LOL). It's working perfectly! I have 3 p/f, but plan on buying a couple more shortly.

I use charlie's powdered soap.

Hi I am Danielle. I have been trying out cloth diapering for a few weeks now and just ordered a bunch more to switch to mostlyfull-time cloth diapering. I have 2 girls. Samantha is 23 months and Aubrey is 6 months.

I use Cushytoosh pocket diapers. They are modeled after bumgenius, here's the link to the store:
http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=6835017

They are awesome diapers! So much softer than I would have even imagined. My toddler definately knows the difference and much prefers the cloth over the disposables. She'll pull her own diaper out of the drawer lol.

I haven't had any stains in my diapers yet. I usually wash same day. I am using Sun free and clear soap which got a really good rating on the cloth diaper detergent website

UPDATE:
I stopped cloth diapering the girls because we had technical sewing issues with the diapers i ordered (though i'm sure they're resolved now...i ordered a long time ago when she first opened her shop) and also since we were living in apartments it was hard to keep up with the washing.

We've had a house for a bit now and have our third baby who has been exclusively cloth-diapered since he was 2 weeks old. Bum-genius 4.0 diapers with the snap closures are my go-to dipes but we also use and love Happy Heiney's and Rumparooz. I'm washing every other day in country save detergent.

Hello! I am Christina. I have been cloth diapering since July of  2008. I swore I would never use cloth diapers- I thought it was really gross but my husband being a college math teacher, he did the figuring and told me I was go to have to go to work to pay for diapers or try cloth.. I tried the cloth and LOVE IT!! Now he has problems with me wanting to buy more and more!!

I started out with bum genius aios. I wasn't too impressed just because the took forever to dry! I have also tried wonderworks- aios. I really liked those but stil had the same problem of them taking forever to dry.
I found some One size bum genius on craigslist so I got them and thought I would get it a shot. I love them so much! I thought it would be a big pain to stuff them but it is really no problem at all. I have had a few problems with leaks but I just had to add more stuffing and that helped also!

I use Allens  detergent- and I love that also. I have tired Country Save and I personally didn't like it. I think the Allens cleans better, plus I have only had to strip my diapers once and that was because of diaper rash cream- I am not sure if it is the  detergent or just luck but I am sticking with Allens!
I love reading about all these cloth diapering Mamas! I didn't know there was so many of them!

Hi, my name is Jessi and I have been cloth diapering since Feb. '09. It has been a wonderful transition and I wish I had done it sooner!
I started out with 12 Fuzzi Bunz (which are amazing) and I added 4 Baby Beehinds bamboo fitteds with the Baby Beehinds cover. They are great for night, but a little bulky for day wear. I use Country Save laundry detergent on them and sun them to dry whenever the weather is nice enough
I also use baby washcloths for wipes and just keep a spray bottle of water handy. I don't have much experience yet, but I have a great routine that makes it so easy and it beats the pants off of buying disposables and addingto the tons of trash being thrown away.
I am willing to answer any questions that anyone might have!

I have been CDing since march 09, so not very long

we started out with prefolds and covers, and use snappies to diaper. I plan on making some fitted diapers, and some pockets.

i have
4 thirsties covers (s) (i would get more then these, my LO has breastfed poop and leaks on the inside of the covers a lot so i can go through 2-4 a day)
24 unbleached Indian prefolds
6 hemp doublers for nighttime diapering (i would suggest only getting as many as days you plan on going w/o washing)

I’ve been CDing for a little over a month now. We started the day my son came home from the hospital. My stash consists of :
12 unbleached Indian newborn prefolds, 6 hemp infant prefolds, 6 birdseye flats, 12 hemp doublers, 2 newborn Snappis, two pail liners

2 AIO diapers

2 sized pockets
3 fitteds

3 fleece covers

22 one-size pockets

Solids

Fun prints

6 PUL covers (2 of which are not shown because one is dirty & one is on Riley‘s bum)

wet bags

Some of my cloth wipes

I started out using the newborn prefolds Snappied under a cover, but lately, I’m digging the fitted dipes under a cover. Much better for containing those runny BF poops. I’m trying to decide whether I like the BumGenius Bamboo fitted or the Kissaluv fitted better before I buy more. At night, we use a prefold with a hemp doubler under a fleece cover. I use Country Save detergent & like to line dry my covers & pocket dipes. The sun works like a charm to get out stains.

I wanted to use cloth for environmental reasons, but I quickly found out how cute cloth dipes are, which is an added bonus!

And finally, here’s the little monkey styling in his cloth:
