Home made baby wraps

posted 22nd Feb
Hi
I have had a lot of people asking me if I could make a baby wrap for them, so I decided I would make a bunch and sell them! Fun hobby, and a little extra income on the side!
I make three styles of wraps, the solid color plain stretch knit wrap for $30 plus shipping, A solid color stretch knit wrap with a pocket sewn on the front for keys or wallet or whatever for $35, and a panel wrap (Like a Moby D wrap) which is a solid color stretch knit wrap with a non-stretch contrasting print panel in the front for $40. (Shipping is $8.50 priority mail for domestic shipping (USA) Shipping is$20dollars to Canada, and $30 to Australia)

I have many colors available, and do custom orders upon request. Contact me for current color choices and options!
Here is a link to the fabric I have available for the panels, as well as pictures of wraps I have made for others.   www.photobucket.com/individuallywrapped

I can put a pocket on the front of the plain ones, so you can put your keys or wallet or phone or whatever.
The panel wrap looks something like this.
If you look through my fabric options and find something you want, just PM me with your full name, shipping address, and e-mail address for billing! I bill through paypal and you can pay with a CC or paypal acct. I also take money order if you would rather do that.
There is about a 2 week turn around for orders at this point, give or take.
I have a lot of orders coming in!! I have shipped about 35 wraps and have about 10 orders pending... more come in daily.   So I just get them done first come first serve. Thanks everyone for the awesome response!!!

Here'sa pic of me with Isla inthe very first wrap I made:
Its lavender rib knit with lotus and paisley brocade fabric.

ETA I also have an Etsy page I just set up. I makeadorable flannel and terrycloth burpcloths and flannel receiving blankets, I only have one set of burpcloths in stock and listed right this minute but I am working on more and will hopefully have them done by the end of the week. That is where I will list finished baby wraps that are not yet spoken for as well. So check there in a couple days if you're interested.

is it only one size or do you make for plus size mommies as well? Plus, how do you rap them?

The wrap has several tying methods, depending on how you want to carry the baby, but the primary one is around your middle, cross in back, over your shoulders, cross in front, tuck the tails under the section around your middle, then wrap however many times around your waist to use up the excess... tie in a knot.   Once the wrap is on, you then place your baby inside. (it sounds confusing, but is actually very simple, takes me about ten seconds to tie mine on.) I include wrapping instructions and you can also find how to videos by the dozen on youtube. Like this one.

They really are one size fits all, they are 5 1/2 yards long!   You can always tie it at the back as well, if you ran out of fabric.
I could maybe add an extra 18 inches to it if someone was really concerned though

Pm me with an order!   I'll be happy to make one. I have light pink fabric and purple on order, with a couple options for panels if you want.   Or I have a few neutral options.
