Baby Madi was the easy one... My brother is almost alwas behind the camera, so I can almost never get pics of him, ad most of my friends start pulling the whole "im so ugly" "im so fat" "dont take any pics" until they get drunk... then they dont even notice the camera... hehehe.

Okay..I'm WAY new to this, so cut me some slack, please lol. I don't have pictures of my oldest because..well..I'm still beginning and she's just not ever cooperative, lol. Sooo here's T-Dot.

Good job! You didn't overexpose with the onboard flash- that's tricky sometimes with point and shoots! I LOVE that paci! (I use mams tho butpacis to me are like baby bling hehe so I love looking at other's baby's bling!  hmm that was a mouthful!

Did you fiddle with your camera settings and learn anything new?

I messed around a LOT, actually lol. I kept trying to take picture after picture, hence the annoyance in the photos of T-Dot, lol. I haven't really found anything new, but it's only been one night. I have the manual to read through and everything!

New gadgets are fun and frustrating. LOL I dislike my current point and shoot but dread getting a new one and dealing with the learning curve. It takes me a few days to get to a point that I start seeing some payback from the days of being frustrated.   I know it's like a foreign language.

While you are fiddling with settings be sure to go into your Quality setting and set it to it's highest or best quality setting. If it's a 10 MP make sure it's set to 10 MP to get the best quality pics.

Also feel free to share random pics on the main thread.

For immediate gratification take some outdoor pictures tomorrow. Set it in P mode on those settings we talked about and just shoot random pics. Kids, rocks, leaves, your car, the dog....you get my point. Natural light will give you a really high quality pic and make you feel warm and fuzzy for the day.   Overcast and cloudy days are especially good! Rainy days (catch it in between downpours so water doesn't get on your camera) and you can catch some good pics!

Alrighty, I took these pictures for this challenge when it first went up but I wasn't sure if I should put them up or not, so technically they are not new but they were taken for THIS challenge, hope that makes sense and it is alright to use them but here they are.

I like the third best too. DOF is nice and so is the color- sun on his face right or is it flash?
