I'd be calling a nurse hotline if my baby was doing that.

Um... call your doctor.

If she had a fever her hands and feet shouldn't be turning blue cause they're cold. Something isn't right...

No if your baby has a 101 temp I would give tylenol and see if it goes down first you dont just run to the ER over a temp.

To the OP: I would call your ped and see what he says. How is her breathing pattern?

She's acting completely normal...has been all day just a little more fussier than normal, we got her hands/feet warmed up ( i figure they got cold while she was eating!) Her hands are a little reddish but pretty much back to normal as are her feet...she's napping now. Fever is still at 100 on the binky thermometer (don't you take away a degree for that?) I just freaked out, because she's never been that color before !

Sounds to me a circulation issue if it happens agian I would call your ped. Are you giving her infant or childrens tylenol?
Im sorry Mama Ive never used the binky one so I am not sure about that. I would be freaking out too I would just keep her temp down with tylenol, washclothes etc

Well I guess go for it but once you get to the ER they most likely are gonna give the baby some tylenol and get the fever down and send yah home which is alot of wasted time and money when u can do it all at home with tylenol, cool washclothesand a bath. I could understand if you cant get the fever down after 2 to 3 doses of tylenol but usually tylenol will bring it down right away.

Getting the Tylenol in is the hardest part. My LO will gag until she throws up to get it out.   We hovered around 100 for about 7 days, the doctor didnt' even blink about it.

i gave her infant tylenol earlier but i didn't want to give her any this late at night....it has the opposite affect on her it makes her stay awake and be super hyper! it has since she was smaller so i only use it if it absolutely have to...it seems as if her fever is almost gone away if it spikes again i will give her some no matter what but i think i'm gonna hold off on it so i can get some rest again...Thanks for the advice...i will call her ped in the morning (he doesn't have a call line at night) and see what he thinks about it (although he his med happy so he might want me to bring her in  ) but if that's the case we'll just go to the doc.

Yah I could understand that some kids wont take it. My Jayandoes the same thing with Motrin for some reason. He takes down tylenol but I have to blow in his face once its in his mouth to get him to swallow it. Its hard when they are stubborn!
