eheh. I know, yesterday I took my lo for a walk, she was just pushing her little ride-on car. We were both enjoying the outdoors. I managed to take like 100Plus pics. Out of all of those, i think i fell in love with one. I editedon picnik.

Nikon D-3000. Still trying to see how i can use it. lol.. What about you?
I'm pretty awful. I need to store my crazy collection in our storage so i can make so more room on my comp.

that's such a great picture! i love it. i use a nikon d50. and still learning too. haha. it's aggravating sometimes, but hopefully i'll get better

I was just snooping on your profile and all of your pics. are beautiful. Do you edit them? Oh, and I see you have one of those puzzles mat for your Lo. We have one for our Daughter as well in her play room. Her's consist of numbers and animals. But i seen you put his name together, that's sweet.

Hey ladies! What do you use to clean the lense of your SLR camera?

Is there a special solution?

My adorable little sticky-fingered baby swiped her fingers over the end of my lense the other night and I don't know what to use to get it clean again.

For just the end of the lens, I simply use a microfiber cleaning cloth like what you'd use for a pair of glasses (in fact, the ones I have are from the optical dept at Walmart).

So you just use the cloth, nothing else...and it comes clean? Awesome! I don't have one of those, but I know they sell them. THANKS!!!!

do you have a filter on? i would suggest one for all your lenses... they are fairly inexpensive and can be a life saver from scratches and heavy smudges

I downloaded it and used it and I saw no difference? All I do is press Go right? It loaded as if it was working but I saw no difference what so ever?

I usually change my settings from the default settings (I usually use portrait, but with sharpness at 0 instead of -2) then press "go" and then "save as". It saves it with the same name as the original only with "filtered" at the end. Then I open up both the original and the filtered picture in photoshop and bring the filtered picture in as a layer over the original. From there I can erase the filtered hair and eyes or reduce the opacity of the filtered layer if it has made the skin look too plasticy. Lots of my pictures hardly have any noise so of course on those pictures, I don't notice any difference, but it really makes a difference on the ones that have been shot inside or with higher ISO and I sometimes use it just as a step in smoothing the skin out a bit.

I have a filter but I don't ALWAYS use it. honestly my filter could use a good cleaning too. Syd frequently reaches for my camera and touches the lense when I'm trying to get a pic of her.

Of course  . I only had a p&s up until a week or so ago. It's not all about the camera.
