I have the community edition of noiseware, it's for free! You can download it here: http://www.imagenomic.com/download.aspx
It's the last download on the page. It really makes a difference to pictures!

The free community edition download is a stand alone so you have to open your picture in the noisware program, let it run and then save the filtered version. Then you open both the original and the filtered version in photoshop. Bring the filtered version into the original picture as a layer and then you can erase the filtered hair and eyes or the skin on men (filtered hair, eyes and men's skin can tend to look too fake and smooth). Merge the two layers when you're happy with it.

I tend to do some basic editing on the original before I run it through noiseware. If I've done any cloning or filters, or working on skin, noiseware helps to blend everything a bit better. I just save the edited original as a copy and then run noiseware on the edited version. (I like to keep my sooc pictures just in case I ever want to do a different edit on them).

what is that? I just give the size in that I want to crop to and then crop it so it's how I like it. I never realized that there was a formula for cropping!

First of all, thank you for the compliment!

I edit my pictures in photoshop. For the eyes, I will make a duplicate layer of the picture. Then go to Image, Adjustments, Curves and raise the curve up a bit in the middle which lightens up the whole picture (but I'm only interested in the eyes while doing this). Afterwards I add a bit more contrast and sometimes I add teen tiny bit of saturation. Then I do an unsharp mask at amount 100, radius 1, and threshold 0 (if that makes the eyes too sharp, reduce the amount to 50). Then I will mask that whole layer and use a soft brush to only reveal the irises and pupils of the eyes. If I want a bit more shine to the eyes, I'll duplicate that eyes layer and change the mode on the second layer to overlay or soft light. Then I adjust the opacities on both the eye layers until I'm happy with the look and then merge all the layers together to one picture again. It goes super fast once you've done it a couple of times.

It's really not complicated at all. It took way longer to type out than it does to do it! lol

Good question!

But i know i got lost after adding contrast, saturation, unsharp mask. I could handle the first and last part tho.
