i was just going through my computer straight to the files, which is what i usually do then i paste them into the appropriate folder in my pics...maybe i'll have to use the software that came wtih the camera...

i will look at that in a sec, thanks. i am transferring them now to a folder, using my olympus software, but i wont be able to open them im sure.

ok i think my freak out is over   i have to open them in my software, then do the RAW development, then i can choose how to save them...it's kind of working...

Do you guys prefer RAW? I can tell my pics look better, but this is taking a long time just to save one picture

I prefer it for shooting indoors, I usually just shoot in jpeg outside since the available light is much better and requires a lot less editing.

hmm i didnt know that. i think i will pry switch it back...although i like the way the pics look. here is a raw one from my camera, i just adjusted the exposure comp and the WB, sharpness by one point and set the noise filter to standard

I tried shooting in my living room and bouncing off wooden ceilings (not a good idea lol), they required more editing than I care to do, but it was a lesson learned.




Then I made this, I'm thinking about getting it printed...

That last one would be awesome printed!
I really like them, but I'm not sure how much I like the white background. It totally makes her stand out and I'm drawn immediately to her face, but for me I'd like more...contrast? IDK if thats the right word for what I'm trying to say.
gosh she's so cute though, she looks like shes ready for high tea, lol

I think they look great. Maybe a little bit too much purple on her skin in the second one and a line of white across her nose and cheeks that is overexposed but other than that they look fantastic.

I really need to do more research....I was outside trying to take nature photos and they just didn't seem right...grrrr

Here is a pic taken with my new camera... I love it ;)... I have to get one more persons eye, and I'll post in the challenge section.... feedback welcome.
