re: Photography Corner- TOGs

Oooo, I'm in! I only have a lowly Kodak point and shoot right now, but I plan to get at least a D40 sometime this year. Can't wait to see what I learn in this group!

I don't feel good enough about my photography to toot my own horn yet. I feel like a kid with a camera sometimes. There are so many things I don't understand! I just finally wrapped my brain around aperture- that was hard to fully grasp for some reason.And I am still not sure how to 'pose' people. I feel like a dope because I am not creative in that regard.

I do plan on booking some freebie sessions this Spring with friends and family though. They'll be nice to me! heheh And thenI think I will judge myself again- if that makes sense? For their time I will give them a half dozen edited pictures on CD and they can print them themselves wherever.

I'm in! I would actually not even fit in the "beginner" cat. I need to be "pre-beginner!". My camera just came yesterday and the huge lenses are freaking me out! I have SO much to learn, but I'm super excited because spring and summer are absolutely beautiful where we live. I can't wait to take some pictures!

I think you are just crazy!!!   Your photographs are beautiful. I told my SIL I bought a camera, and she wants me to do her maternity pictures... I am freaking out! Sure she's only 14 weeks.... BUT, I have lots to learn in so little time!

Okay ladies, here's a question for you. I am not seriously considering this. There was a banner add on the side for this, so I bit to see what it was.

I think it is. I just think it's one of those tings that you're gonna end up swindled some how! Especially since it costs you $0.75 to place a bid, and you can only bid in increments of $0.01.

Would you take the chance since you could potentially get such a great deal?

So what do we do in this group? share pictures? ... and this may be a dumb question, but I have to ask - what's thedifference between edited and non edited? ... meaning you just took a picture and don't have to do anything, it just turned out good? i'd love to share, or see what others can share with me.
