I am 29 yrs old and was on depo from ages 16-21. I have had 2 miscarriages this year and just found out today from the u/s tech that the depo could be what caused them. I am currently 5 & half weeks pg a 3rd time but I had an emergency u/s due to some light spotting over the weekend. I don't know yet if I'm going to lose this one. I'm praying things will work out and I will carry to term and have a healthy baby. This year has been an emotional rollercoaster! But it's starting to make sense that the depo has caused problems to my body. Like someone else mentioned, I have no problems getting pg, I just can't carry them thru the 1st trimester! I too have been on the depo shot. I was on it for 3 years when I was with my ex who was abusive and i knew that getting pregnant was not an option in that situation. When I met my husband I stopped the depo. We have been ttc for 2 years and we have had 3 miscarriages. I do blame the depo..all i want is one more and I dont care if its a boy or girl, as long as it is healthy. Good luck everyone who is ttc.
