My Biggest Fear Come True

Ok Ok! So I've been with my partner for 5years - well we were together 4 and the last year has been on and off as we have been dating other people...

We recently started spending time with eachother and i discovered I was pregnant...I was OVERJOYED! A week ago he broke the news to me that another girl he had been seeing is also pregnant....

I feel like my joy has been stolen and I don't know what i'm going to do anymore..My perfect family idea - which was going so well - is ruined, we can't pull through this...I can never forgive him for this...

What would you guys do?

its not like he cheated on you, shit happens. Try to be happy for the baby. If your man wants to be there for you, let him!! you cant change the past, so try to make the furture better. congrats

What the fuck is it nowadays with people having children with practically strangers? Theres birth control (in many, many forms) for a reason...

Happened to me....Me and my husband had been separated for a year and we started seeing each other agian,,i knew he was seeing someone else didnt know it was serious,,anyway after i found out i was pregnant 1 monthshe told him she was pregnant,,3 months..fucked up ah, well i told him to be a man and go deal with his shit to take care of her and the baby..i knew from experience that i never wanted to have another relationship with him though....He mad two attempts to see our little girl and that was it,,,,he never called again,,shes 2years and 3 months and he hasnt seen her since she was 10 months old,,the day i gave him the divorce papers.....my situation is different than yours,, but i know how you feel...i thought it was so awsome then she takes that feeling away....but it dosnt matter because once your baby is here thats all that matters,,your own joy and experiences..

didnt you post about using metformin to help you concieve? did your dr ever give you the script? did your insurance cover it?

 Like everyone else said, you were seeing other people and obviously (at least he was) having sex with them...pregnancy happens.  
Just make sure you get in for prenatal care immediately, they will do the entire battery of STD tests regardless, but it's extra important for you considering you are more high risk to have been exposed to something.

Ok for a starter and to everyone saying about birth control ... he wasn't a stranger and we knew exactly what we were doing! As I said we were seeing other people, and then decided to start seeing eachother again,so NO during the time that I got pregnant I did NOT know he was sleeping with anyone else and neither was I!

So as far as I was concerned unless she was 4months pregnant which she wasn't...he'd gone behind my back!

Well I can see why your feeling deflated but I'm wondering why he needs your forgiveness. Not like he cheated he was just a moron who didn't wrap up when he should have. I bet the other girl feels just as let down as you do.
