External Version?

I was just wondering how many
moms have had a External Version
done? Did it work? How bad did it
really hurt? Is it worth it or should
I not even try and just opt for C-Section?

My daughter is Full Footling Breech.
I am going in Tuesday morning at 7am
for them to try and do the Version. I'm
scared it won't work and just will not be
worth the discomfort. Any advice ladies?
I have a high level of fluid, so they said that
is awesome and will help and she is so tiny
for being this far along. I've got myself a
little baby, she's not even 6lbs yet and I
am almost 38 weeks. So they say it should
work, small babies are easier to turn. I have
no idea. x.x This is one more crazy thing. lol

they'll give you an injection of something to relax you so they can try adn trun the baby into head down. I've seen the procedure done on TV and it can be quite painful...also it can cause labour...

They do not always give you
the injection. They only do that
if they really need to. My doctor pretty
much told me everything about it,
I just wanted to hear the stories of
ladies that have had it done. lol

They'll be inducing me right after
they get her turned so it's alright if
I go into labor from it.   They
actually want me to go into labor
from it.

I've never personally had it done, but my aunt had it done when her second son was being stubborn. She was 39 weeks and like 3 days and he was still breech feeties first, so they decided to try and turn him. It was apparently very painful, but it was successful and she went into labor the very next day.

Yes, my daughter is Footling
Breech, feet first, same as your
aunt. Yay one success story!

D: Boo on the pain part. lol
I have a high tolerence for pain
so maybe I'll be alright. If not
they have fun meds to give me. lol
