I am not surprised to hear Dylan isn't the only one.......because they said it's 'common' BUT i am sooo relived to hear that it only happens once sometimes....my heart broke a little that day =(
I know every time one of my boys even feels the slightest bit warm---they are getting a dose of fever medicine!!

I hope Dylan is all better now!

This happened to me when I was 2 or 3

I remember how scary those are... Erick was sick ..very sick once and he had a seizure..his fever was so high. It was the scariest thing ever!! Thank GOD he recovered and nothing bad happened.. but it is so scary.

oh my i just teared up. this is such a big deal. its a blessing yall were at the hospital already. They gave my son seizure medication after he had his. then made us g o to a childrens hospital to watch him because they gave him the wrong medication. it was the scariest thing ever. i just remeber him sleeping that whole day and the next day.

Yeah I was glad that I was right there, I would have flipped if I was home. I mean the hospital./doctors office/emergency HELP is 45 minutes away (we used to live in the middle of no where). Most people don't understand either because Im a LPN but what they don't realize is Im not a doctor!

i had them when i was little and olivia has them now. she doesnt have one unless her temp reachs 104 or higher. the first time she had one i took her to the dr and the er and they told me it was nothing. she had another one a couple weeks later with the high fever and i took her back to the dr for some bitch to tell me she was ok it was nothing. i grabbed another dr freaking out and told her what was happening and they started to listen. i try everything in my power to keep her healthy

yeap people dont realize u gotta get someone who knows what it is to tell u. we dont know it all! Weird thing is that this happen to my son and we kinda forgot about it, docs made it out to be no big deal. told me it most likely will never happen again. I think that helped me no worry. i just prayed and put it in the most highs hands! he hasnt had another one.

No i dont think he knows what the hell happend............He was scared when he woke up in the hospital...but other then that i dont think he knows.......

I feel like throwing up because he isn't acting like himself today =( And he wants to sleep---this is reminding me of wednesday! When he had the seizure!
