My water broke last night....

Well at about 12 last night I was sittin in bed and I felt something dribble and then I stood up and a huge gush of fluid came out of me. Well me now knowing what to do woke my aunt up and she called the doctor and he asked if we were sure it wasn't pee. So I checked, did the whole smell test because everyone knows urine has a smell...well no urine smell but it had a different weird kinda smell. So I went to the hospital and they did some test were they stick a little strip inside of you to see something about musus or membranes I have no idea what they were talkin about if that broke. Well according to the test mine didn't. So they hooked me up to the monitors and watched the baby, no contractions showed up but damnit I was having them, and they were close. So instead of seeing if I had dilated anymore then what I was yesterday morning they sent me home. My question to the women that have had children is...Are their really two sacks of water that have to break before you go into labor? A friend of mine told me that and I wasn't sure, never heard that before so I figured I would ask on here. So anyway today I have been walking as much as possible and hoping and praying she decides to come out sometime today or tomorrow. Well I would really appreciate it if I could get some answers...thanks a lot!!!
 

I know my sister in law was telling me about how oyu have a mucus plug that does "unplug" it is does have a watery/thicker consistancy and when you look your mucus plug it just means that your baby is making more room to come down the birth canal!!! EXCITING!!!!!!!
