re: Christian God vs. All other Gods vs. No Gods at all

I agree. I don't think it is our place to do any sort of condemning. That is the job of the Son, and I don't think he needs my help.

Actually instead of being judgemental, we should really take a look at those ten commandments that God gave us. The one stating that we should love our neighbor as ourself could stillbe played into effect today.

That's no lie. It doesn't say "Love Thy Christian Neighbor." Love and accept everyone everyday in a way that makes them feel good about religion, and maybe they will decide that they would like to attend church one day.

Yep. It's kind of weird because this is what we talked about in church today.

My sermon had to do with football when I went. I didn't quite get the whole point, I guess. But, I guess thats what you deal with when you live in Texas where football is a religion in itself.

lol well mine was about "God's Amazing Advance Preparation" which talked about how we can bring people to God and spread the Gospel without actually mentioning the word God or Jesus. Then we watched a video of Tom Cruise and his views on Scientology. It was an interesting day for us. lol

That does sound like a really good sermon. I have a few friends that don't want to hear me mention Jesus because they don't want to feel like they are getting preached at, unless they ask me a question about it.

Its doesn't have to do with gods though.
I grew up going to a baptist church with my cousin and my aunt and uncle. i never believed a word i was told...it all seemed like a fairy tale...i still do. But the one reason i don't believe in the god christians believe inis because my uncle would beat my cousin with his belt afterward for not behaving in church. Yet, she grew up a hardcore extreme christian. I don't know if i believe in any god. i have studied wicca and if i were to believe in a god/goddess it would come from the wiccan religion. I don't know what is out there and no one does. I don't want to fear anything anything in this life orafter death so chose not to believe in a heaven or a hell. I believe in doing good and making the best out of this life.
