after reading the second post i got ur drift

talking about religion will bring some of the best debates .I cant say if there is a jesus christ or a god but i have had a miracle and been touched by the holy ghost so i feel him just havent ever seen them . i think how u were raised is what u will belive mostly

I love this bible verse.

Hebrews 11:1 Faith means being sure of the things we hope for and knowing that something is real even if we do not see it.

In America and Canada the big religion is GOD. Maybe in other countries where budah is the main god, or ala (w/e) there are people who do the same thing. They say "well if there is no ala oh well, it didn't hurt to pray to him". I don't know if that made sense haha. I tried.

The book is so much better. Movies have to be interesting so they don't always capture what the book is all about.

I think it has a lot with people refusing to believe they could be wrong. If there is no God, it doesn't hurt them. However if there is a God, just not their God, then it means they put their faith in the wrong God. Then in return they will be "punished" for being wrong, it's easier to ignore that possibility than acknowledge it.

yea i guess everyone has to worship somthing whether if deep down u know they are the real god or if like budda is the real god u gotta belive in somthing i guess ya never know we all coluld be wrong and i could be a dog! who realy knows i guess its all about what ur parents tell ya

Because most people on here believe in god, and are Canadian and American.etc I'm sure if there was more people who followed Ala on here you might just here that.

Eh, I'm used to it.

As someone who believes in multiple deities, I can say that I obviously don't think there are just two options.  

It can sometimes be annoying when I'm having a religious debate or discussion with someone and they ask me "Are you a Christian?"
"No"
"Oh, so you're Jewish then."
"...No..."
"Then what...? Oh! You're Atheist."
*sigh* "No... I'm not."
And then they're confused. Because *obviously*, if you're not Christian or Jewish... and you don't "look Muslim", then of course! You must be an Atheist! haha.

But eh... most of the time I'm used to it.  

My Theory on it is.

I believe what I believe.
That doesn't mean I am going to sit and tell someone who believes in Buddha they are wrong.
Thats not my style.

I know there are a lot of Christians out there who do the "cast ye into hell" if you don't believe, but I am not like that nor is the churchI go too.

I have a very mellow approach to faith.
Because in the bible you don't see Jesus walking around damning everyone who is leary of him.

So why would I go around do that.

I get what you're saying. . . but I don't think that other people take other beliefs into consideration when they are debating it.

It's like asking an American what they are going to eat for meat with dinner. Probably chicken, pig, or cow but if you ask someone from a foreign country, that can turn into chicken, cow, pig, duck, cat, maggot, etc. If that makes sense. (different subjects and way of life are brought up by different cultures and beliefs.)
