so mommies with stiches..today is exactly two weeks, since i popped penny out...i went to take a piss this morning and got some good wiping in since im a bleeding fool today andone of my stiches came out  i hope that is what it was..it looked like fishing line and there was a knot in it...

is this terribly bad...ismy entire episiotomy going to unravel? just curious if i should call the doctor

That is awesome. I hope it helps speed it up. I had mine done 2 or 3 times with Jordan & it didnt help, but I think it will for you.

Completely normal, lol. Dont worry they will fall out on there own & the ones that dont they will finish pulling them out at your appt.

I only had 2 stitches, and they were gone by 2 weeks. But, my doc did tell me I could see bits and pieces of the stitches as they dissolved, so I would say it's not a big deal.

I have only given Hayden a bottle twice with pumped milk. Every bottle i try, he seems to get way too much milk from the nipple and the nipples choke him. I have tried the soothie bottle since that is the ONLY pacifier he will take, the playtex vent air, and they both seem to choke him and they even have the slow flow nipples. The nipple on the playtex drop in is way too long for him. Any other suggestions? I'm getting my hair done Friday and my mom is going to watch him so of course he will need a bottle then.

did they give you any of the little bottles from the hospital???? i had to use those at first with penny because she was choking and gagging on our drop in bottles as well... she loved those nipples but now she is turning into a fatty and we use the drop ins...

but the only pacifier she will take now are playtex i think...or nuk..either way, the nipple looks just like the nipple from the hospital bottles...

my friend breastfeeds and swears by the born free bottles and their slow flow nipples. Maybe give them a shot? That or those adiri (i think that's what they are called)ones they sell at babies r us (some targets have them also). They mimic the breast.

thank you for that..they didn't tell me anything about the stitches at all..they completely failed me on that part but were good about everything else...

I have never seen those before! The closest BRU is an hour away. Maybe toys R us carries them?

they probably have some at toys r us if yours has a small baby section. It's worth checking out. I plan on going to get one or two of them for when I do pump. I've heard great things about them!
