quickening??

hey guys i am 15 weeks this week and was just wondering when everyone felt their babies move and what is quickening? i read something where someone said they hadent felt the baby but did feel the quickening. i am 20 and this is my first baby. i am due october 31. thanks!!

Quickening is the first time you feel your baby move. I felt mine at 17 weeks, 5 days.

I felt it I believe around 16 weeks. but now I am 21 weeks and have been feeling harder chock and movement for 3 weeks the daddy and gramma finally felt it at 20 weeks and I also saw it on the outside at 20 weeks. But everyone is different.

yes, quickening is when you first feel your baby!! i felt mine with my first when i was in my 16th week of pregnancy, it was neat!!

I felt it this time at 15 weeks.... with Emilee, it was right before my appointment at 21 weeks and 2 days, I believe.

Yeah, it's when the baby moves but can't be classed as kicking I guess... I felt mine move at about 15 weeks, it feels like bubbles or something, lol.

hey i felt lil flutter at about 18 weeks i think but nothing definate til about 20 weeks and now i get literally kicked hell out of lol!! good luck

Like everyone else said, quickening is the first time you'll feel your baby moving. I felt flutters at 16 weeks and they got progressively stronger. At 19 weeks I could see him moving from the outside, THAT was trippy! And now he's been kicking pretty hard to where you can see him move with my shirt over my stomach.

I felt mine really early at about 11 or 12 weeks which I understand is totally not normal for first time moms. I thought I was imagining it for a while but now that it's getting stronger I know I really did feel it that early. I love it!
