Along with the guilt and greif comes a VERY VERY strong heart!!!   I never knew what love was until I had to let go of something that close to me.

  Well, even though I get angry at women who have multiple abortions because they arent ready... You know, they still need support too! And as a mother who has lived through an abortion for a very different reason. It makes me feel good to be there for women who need it!

I don't like it when someone abuses their right to abortion either (having multiple abortions after multiple abortions simply because they don't want to use any kind of birth control). However, someone THAT irresponsible is not someone I trust to be a good mother, or even to stay healthy during her pregnancy. In my personal opinion, those are the women I think have more of a reason to have abortion available to them.

Mind you... a woman that irresponsible with her life is probably not someone I'd like to be friends with.

Also, these kinds of women are actually pretty rare.

For the sake of the intention of this poll, can we please avoid the "I don't believe in abortion" and "Abortion is wrong" and blahblahblah?

sorry about that....I almost had a scare that my baby was going to have Trisomy 18....and if the amnio came back with showing positive for Trisomy 18...my hubby wanted to do an abortion just becaue the baby was going to die anyway becuase it is a fatal syndrome....but thanks GOODNESS....the amnio came back normal and everything is good. I wouldnt' know what to do if I had to do make that decision. It's really hard...

Do you mind me asking how far along you were?

I don't regret mine and never have. I often forget about it. It was the right choice for me at the time. I might be heartless for not regretting it even in the least bit but so be it.
But to add to that, I took the pill instead of what mostwoman have done. I wonder if I had the normal procedure done if it would have had more of an impact on me.

My uncle is a crack head, big time. His girlfriend has been pregnant 4 times and all have ended with abortion. It's sad.

I was too far along to have just the pill   I agree-If i had just the pill it probalby would be less of an impact...also they did an u/s on me to make sure i wasnt too far along for them to do it and I glanced over at the screen...to this day i have that image frozen in my mind  

I have no regrets. My reasonings for doing such are mine and mine alone.

I think about it yes. I think more about where my life would be had've I not gone through with it. I look at my life now, at the two beautiful children I have now and simply can't find any regrets.

You shouldn't worry about what other people think. It was your choice, what was best for YOU. Screw whoever bashes. They must not know the whole story.
