Nursing Bras

posted 3rd Feb '09
I need to buy nursing bras before the baby comes. In fact, I have been wearing the same bra for the past 6 months or so because I am flat broke. But I can't keep wearing this one - it's getting too tight!! Where can I get nursing bras cheap? I mean, I can't afford to spend $14-$20 on one!

Kmartand target have cheap ones, I just wear a regular bra and lift it up though, I don't like nursing bras. But with my first baby I bought some that were fine at target and Kmart.

as much as it sucks to hear, that is the ONLY thing that you should spend good money on....i tried to go the cheap route with this and no freaking way, man.....all the cheap ones i tried were so uncomfortable!....i tried target, sears, etc.....it is definitely worth it to just get two NICE nursing bras...i guarantee....la leche league makes the BEST!...oh, and don't get any with underwire, you will definitely want full coverage because those puppies need it!

I bought a couple of mine on VictoriasSecret.com during their bra sales and yeah, I think I paid like $16 each. I bought cheapies off of eBay when I had my son and they broke (the nursing closures) w/in the first two wearings. COMPLETE waste of money.

Mother hood has good bras but, they are 12-13.00. I don't think you can get a bra for cheaper than that.

the ones at Motherhood are a really nice soft microfiber w/easy to open and close flaps, they are snug and comfey! I wore mine even after I was nursing.

the site did back in September. I don't know about now but it's worth looking. I got a gorgeous leopard print w/ red trim and straps nursing bra for $16.99, a light pink  one, and a black one- I think those were each $12.99

I was going to buy one from Walmart but it didn't seem to have much support. What size are you if you don't mind me asking.

I got both of mine from motherhood maternity, they have different styles (underwire, no underwire, lace, no lace, tan, white, brown, blacketc) and are about 16-20.00. I've seen some other places but I like the ones there because they look normal. Some are just nasty looking. They also sell 'extenders' there for a couple dollars that allow you to extend the length around your waist some if you are having trouble finding one that fits right (cup size fits on one but is too tight around but the next cupsize is too big even tho it feels good around)
