re: Photoshop and all photo editing chat thread

So I liked both comic examples you guys posted, but I tried Mellie's (adapting it for Gimp of course). Here is the result of that


And a "cartoon" one I did while messing around earlier today.

When you do a stroke, it normally gives you three options: inside, outside & center. Hit inside.

Which PS do you use though?  Because mine doesnt give me that option.  I can stroke the outline section and it will bring up options, but I didnt think thats what they were talking about.

Not bad for your first try. The color halftone looks like it needs to be smaller.. but thats prolly just me. lol..

is ps7 the same as the ps elements 7?  I am new to the ps stuff so idk.  
under edit, full, layer styles, and strokes.  this is all on the right side of the screen.  idk where else the stroke layer is.

That's not bad at all! I agree with Tara, though. Maybe try making the halftone a little smaller and see how that looks. But, overall, nice job!

I did it on a small picture so it came out big the second time i used the larger pic and shrunk it after the halftone and it came out better, let me see if i saved it....

2nd try w/ fiance's help we over lightened him though and when i shrink the pic, the halfton really doesnt show

HHmm... I dunno? Good question.
And about the stroke thing, that sounds about right, so I dunno about the whole "inside" thing on your version.. Sorry I couldn't help.
