How do you guys do watermarks, lol. i just did this for watermarks on my pictures....


ETA: i want to know how to fade them so they don't ruin the picture so much.

I made my text an overlay and messed with the settings a bit, like...bevel, drop shadow and such...I really need to find my paper I write my stuff down on...

I have no idea what an overlay is or how to do that.

What program I use? Gimp.

I need to download Gimp to test things I do on PS on Gimp.

Do you have blending options? Something like a drop down that has things in it that say

Normal
Dissolve
Color
Luminosity
screen
multiply
overlay
soft light
hard light

those are some examples, they should all be in a drop down box above your layer palette maybe?

I love this pic....I wished I did more with my baby....I am doing it with her now, but she is already a yr....when she was 1st born I was so burned out and I was still in the Army so I didnt have any focus.....my next kid will be spoiled! lol
