I mean yah, my camera isnt bad, but yours is better, a big draw back on mine is the lens comparability.

that was a big reason why I choose to invest a bit more and start off with the d90 instead of the d60 like I had planned. I'm really glad I did. I actually use the live view quite a bit for pictures that are at a real hard angle to look in the viewfinder to set the focal point.

can anyone suggest any good books, websites, and link (tut) for beginners for ps cs4? basically i wanna learn how to make siggy.. like put a picture inside a cute frame.. are they even called frames? lol such a newbie at this.. any help would be appreciated thanks all

I DL'ed one to use and I'm completely oblivious to wear the mask tool and stuff is.

I don't know about PSE but here's how I do it in photoshop, maybe it will help. Put the photo in one layer. Put the mask in the layer below that. Right click the layer with the photo and select "Make clipping mask."

Photoshop question


i recently discovered that all my images are saving thru photoshop at 240 resolution and not 300 or 350. i know how to change it in one picture but do you have any idea why it is saving them at 240? i'm pretty sure its not the camera unless thats what raw files save at. i checked pictures from jan of 08 and they are at 300 res. i didn't use raw back then or photoshop. any ideas? the company that was making my postcards said they needed the file 300 or 350. an easy switch for one pic in ps, but got me thinking why? Iread an article and it says. the camera only shoots 240, so is it the camera or the editing program or both that is making them 240? the old files before i used ps are 300 w/the same camera so i guess its just ps that converts to 240, now how to change that?
