Gassy

My daughter is 6 weeks and is very gassy. She hollars when I burp her between feedings and after. She cries & screams when she has a BM. When she moves her bowels it's almost always hard & formed. Is anyone else going thru this, and if so what did u do to help ur child. My doctor switched her milk from reg Enfamil to Gentlease to Soy. She wants me to go back to Gentlease then says i can try Nutrmigen. I don't know, she's not getting used to any of them. She said I can give her 2 oz of gerber water a day and use the Mylicon drops. Some people say try Gripe Water. I want to find the right thing for her but nothing seems to be working right about now. I just want responses to put at least some of my worries at ease.

My 7 week old is having all the same problems. he's on prosobee right now and spits up a ton, he's constipated and gassy. we gave him mylicon for a few days and i think it made it worse. i bought gripe water yesterday, but haven't needed to use it yet. my doctor said i could give him 1oz juice with 1oz water once a day or every other day to soften his poop. i just started that yesterday so i dont know if its working yet. if it does, i'll let you know! good luck
