Quoting *Ladii B*: I honestly dont want one, but everyone is telling me im going to need it
Quoting HopToad: i would just like to share my story...first and foremost from the hour after she was delivered (i ended ... [snip!] ... in my head. once in recovery my nurse told me she thought that he had given me too much of the medicine and Id overdosed!!!!
Quoting Anemic Mommy *BCF*: I have delivered three times and only one time did I have an epi. The last time. I will neverdo it again. ... [snip!] ... while pushing. I scratched for days. This is after the doc put in medication into the epi to help keep me from itching.oh my gosh!!! my friend didnt have any complications from it...and im very athletic so i probably wouldnt be able 2 do anything like tht....wow....
For me, the epidural was great. I had no complications. My skin was numbed with a topical cream so i didnt feel the needle going in my back and didnt feel myself getting the epidural at all. Before the epidural, i was having contractions every 2 min so I didnt even get a break from one to the next. I didnt get to enjoy labor at all until i received the epidural. i could no longer feel any pain at all and i was able to appreciate my baby in my tummy for the last time. the epidural may not work for everyone, but it was great for me.
